I think it is my fault. I am not direct in my comments and requests. I prefer to say things like “a 10 motif with this gold color or stone would be so nice” not “can I order it like that”. The times I made a specific request my SA has laughed and said they will not do a composition like that or said he asked Paris and received no reply. I think you are right that I should be more direct. It is complicated because I am originally not from the country where I live and shop and do not shop in my first language, so I can easily get shy or also seem like a person who can be manipulated. Thank you for the good suggestion
I wonder what the process is like. Eventually, I want to place a SO (once I'm at the threshold) and I'd want a 10 motif RG pink MOP necklace with a matching bracelet and earrings. It's rather simple but my SA said it's hard for them to get that stone. I definitely would just want something to represent cherry blossom.

I agree with the rush thing. I can't tell you how many times a SA has tried to make me think I just happen to be lucky enough to be there when that rare item is there...not just talking about VCA....I experience it with Chanel. I have only bought a couple of VCA and the experience has been fine.
I called Chanel wanting some shoes and they told me I need a purchase history...? I told the guy on the phone 'no thanks, I'll just get it from Saks' and he became rude. VCA has been a lot better with SAs but even then, they should be perfect if they're in the luxury market

Need help understanding VCA's business strategy. Nothing is ever in stock, and only several pieces are offered at the boutique. I got interested in the 6 motif Magic Alhambra YG MOP neckalce, but it seems impossible to buy. Is VCA trying to make the Magic line very exlusive? But what good is it if no one can buy it?

I don't think they're trying to make the magic line exclusive, the boutiques just probably don't order/request the 6 motif necklace often since it's not in high demand as other standard creations like VA sized creations and 5 motifs which tend to be in lower price point and easier to sell. I've seen the 6 motif necklace pops up on the US website every now and then, not the YG MOP version but the WG GMOP/WMOP/chalcedony combo. If you really want to you can call e-boutique to see if they have any in stock. They have a different inventory system than the boutiques & can help you locate one if any of the boutiques within your country have it.

My best approach is to take time with this vca journey and enjoy the pieces I have, enjoy getting to know my boutique sa and manager, and have fun with trying on what’s available. I only buy what I really want and politely decline what doesn’t make my heart sing. I’ve only pre-ordered one item and have been lucky enough to have been offered four magic items that I’ve been on the hunt for. Truthfully, I told them magic anything is on my wishlist so they contact me with whatever they get in. The quality and craftsmanship of vca is impeccable and the wait of new pieces doesn’t bother me, I get to save some money while enjoying what I do have in creative ways.
