Are Louboutins outdated?

Please post the next time you find them on sale. I used to find sales at Barneys, Bergdorf, Saks, etc. when Christian Louboutins were in high demand but not of late.
They still go on sale twice a year. Usually 40% off and there is far less to pick from that it used to be Since epidemic people buy way more than before . When it comes to shoes, nowadays instead of waiting preferred pair to go on sale my SA calls and places order before they go to store. That goes for majority of designers not only for CLs .

For whoever is interested NM has cl valentino and others on sale right now 40%

For those interested, EBay has a very good pair of Black Patent Louboutin Hot Chicks, 130 mm heels, size 39. Impossible to find and I’d buy but have two pairs of HC, one Black patent, one Leo patent, so I don’t need. Cheers.

New forum member here! I'll admit I'm of two minds. On the one hand, I think that CL's track record of saying things like "I don't care how uncomfortable my shoes are if women look good in them" is problematic. (But it speaks very poorly of HIM as a person, rather than people who like or buy his products.) On the other hand - I think people should just wear whatever clothes/shoes make them feel comfortable, confident, and happy. Just like meaningful art sometimes has to be distinguished from a problematic ARTIST, I think the same is true of clothing versus the people who design it.

Totally agreed with you!
Some years ago my husband bought me a pair of pigalle follies dragonfly (with black/blue/purple glitter) The hells are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately it's extremely uncomfortable. I was happy whenever I wore it and got quite some compliments but with hurting feet! At that time Jimmy Choo has a similar pair also with glitter and it was 50% off. But husband said CL just looks much better and more sexy than the JC one. I should not get JC because it was in discount. So, it said it all.

Been wearing CLs for almost a decade. Most people don’t even know I’m wearing Louboutins because I’ve always had spikes/statement/embarassingly edgy shoes as part of my style. I did transition to 85mm or less though, I’ve aged out of accepting pain for the pleasure of wearing certain shoes.
