Hi Bababebi,

Thank you for helping me to authenticate a Hermes Kelly few days ago. (post #7248) I have received my purchase today! There are 2 questions I have: 1) The inside zipper is different than most other kelly I have seen. Is this zipper pull correct according to that year? 2) year stamp is a F in square and 38 S on the right side. F is year 2007, Do you have any idea about the 38 S? I remember reading something here in the forum saying some Hermes items are only for employees. I hope this is not one of those. Also some additional pic for authenticity. Thank you

There is nothing in the auction pictures or in your photo stream which gives me even the slightest concern regarding the authenticity of this Kelly, I confirm my original opinion. The stamp 38.S is an atelier or craft mark.

The stamps for sale bags and employee sale bags are placed on the front of the bag, next to the Hermes-Paris stamp. There are none on this bag.

Yes, the seller replied that it was a 24 by 17 cm, it is indeed too small for my usage. Once a while I find my 32 Massai cut inadequate. Such a pity as this Trim is in such a beautiful colour.

hello out there,

i've found this clutch on a kind of flea market. as i'm not that sure about the authenticity of this bag i need definitely your help. is this a hermès bag?

i have 3 days to decide to buy it or not. the price is about 30 €


i have some problems with the upload, so i hope this one picture will be helpfull.

Edit: this bag has a golden chain / shoulder strap inside. i didn't notice a stamp or something like that. the quality of the leather is quite good, i guess it could be lizard?

My experience has generally not been good with "irritable" sellers. When I asked for a photo of the date stamp, this was the sellers reply: "They may not have stamped their bags at the time. In any event, even fake bags now sport a date stamp. My record speaks for itself, and I do not appreciate having my integrity or honesty put in doubt." BTW, not a long record of selling items of this kind. Also, there is no stamp indicating crocodile or alligator.In any case, I am still interested in thoughts on authenticity as price point is reasonable, if authentic.,TIA.

The Kelly in the pictures is authentic in my opinion and does look like Porosus from the scale pattern to me. I judge it to be a 60's Kelly.

Regarding the seller, well, as you can see the feedback is unrelated to Hermes. My feeling judging from the reply they gave you is that the seller is not very informed regarding Hermes. May not even know what a blind stamp is. Unfortunately this is a case where you will have to try communicating further to determine your comfort level with the seller.

Go carefully.

Bag History: said it was purchased from the Hermes boutique in Paris when traveling abroad 2 years ago.

Sorry, no, this is not authentic and was not purchased in an Hermes Boutique.
