Format for private sales:
Item: Hermes Birkin 40cm in Tosca K5 colour and Togo leather
Seller: friend's friend is the seller
Bag History: purchased from Paris
The pictures were taken by me, I went to look at the bag over at her house today.
The number on the key and lock match, i took a picture but accidentally deleted it... please help identify the birkin from the pictures. I love this colour and really want to buy it, thanks so much!

I thought this was the authentication thread, this will be my first Birkin and i want to be careful when it comes to a large purchase. This was a private sale and there was no Ebay protection. if it bothers you to authenticate again, then dont

Your explanation here is different from the one in your authentication request. It appears that actually you are checking up on the bag you received from SandiaExchange, but decided to leave that out, and say that the seller is a "friend of a friend".
If posters are not forthcoming about the bag details in their requests it makes it difficult to help. We don't play the game of 20 questions here. We help as best we can. We ask that requesters please be forthright.

Hello and welcome! Unfortunately, even in these rather small pictures I see some red flags. In my view this bag does not look authentic here. I would not bother asking about additional pictures on this one.

We would be happy to authenticate it for you; you are an active member with posts across a wide variety of subjects. Our concern is when we receive requests from people whose only posts are requests in the various authentication threads.

Hi Bababebi! The seller ended up sending the pics anyway. I just wanted to post them for the sake of posting them, to be sure the bag is not authentic, since she sent close ups. Thanks again for your help with this. Can you review and confirm that the bag is not authentic?
