comments: I have recently purchased this, but it worried me because once I have recieved it, the matieral is not a hard as my 30cm garden party, which means the leather is so much softer that it can barely stand on itself without tissue paper, and the leather pathern is not so equal, also the leather strap is too soft if talking about a brand new garden party, please help me authenticate this.

It is the preference of the authenticators on this thread not to give authentication to members who buy and resell bags. It is also the preference of the authenticators to comment on current, not closed, auctions and sales, and to give authentication to members who post in a range of threads, not just requesting free authentication for designer items. If your request is not answered here, for whatever reasons, professional authentication services are available outside of PF.

We have never discussed the reasons why a bag may or may not be fake, or the characteristics of a fake, and do not plan to start. And, for what it's worth, I have seen authentic bags with plastic on the handles - it depends where they are being sold.

You need to judge the bag itself, really. We also request that people without a lengthy posting history on PF refrain from offering authentication opinions/commentary here, as it can be confusing to members.

It would be appreciated if we could get back to topic of authentication requests only - this thread has wandered in the past day or so.
