Hi all, with reference to my earlier post seeking your kind help in authenticating the lindy purse, i managed to get the seller to provide me with a picture of the date stamp. Is the date stamp shown below authentic? Thanks in advance for the patience and help.

Not in my opinion. These bags are stitched by hand and they are not perfect always. Small defects in stitching of this kind happen on authentic bags all the time.

Hi raninoc, i'm no expert at authenticating purses like the other ladies here. But after seeing your link, the pictures on the gumtree site seem similar to the ebay listing of the lindy bag i posted earlier on. Please look at post #7127 for a picture of the date stamp that the seller sent me. I found this highly suspicious.
