I have a feeling this is probably real (as it seems a wierd bag to fake) but I am also wondering if there is any way to have the stitching on the handle (and the rest of the bag) cleaned. I really love the style (I collect Kelly Ado), anyway. Happy Holidays!
Listing No.:330847137380

Thanks in advance, and happy holidays!

It is authentic. Cleaning light color leathers is always tricky, and the Amazonia material, which is rubber, is somewhat tricky too, although the special wipes do restore shine. Stitching can be re-stitched.

Item: Hermès Birkin 35 Black Togo Leather PHW
Seller: kwon99, ebay bought outside of ebay though!
Bag History: The seller said the bag comes from Berlin - Receipt confirms this!
Pictures: Pictures have been taken by seller and from me in part.
Comments: I believe this bag is authentic - though fakes keep getting better and better. I just hope I didn't spend my hard earned money for a Fake bag.

I hope you ladies can help me authenticate this bag! I thank you in advance and will try to help more as soon as I get more knowledge about authenticating Hermes bags!!:smile1:

These pictures are not sufficient. Please review the first post here for the views we ask for, including unwrapped handles. And if you have an Ebay link for the seller, please include it. Please note, however, that we do not comment on auctions after they have closed.

Also, I am sure you mean to be helpful but if you are asking for authentication help, it is our preference that you do not offer authentication advice. Thanks.

Comments: Hello ladies, I had just purchased this bag from ebay for $6,700. They say if something is too good to be true it probably is... I had saved up penny to penny over the passed year to be able to purchase this bag and I would be devastated if it is fake.
I need your amazing trained eyes and skills, it will be truly appreciated. If it is authentic (crossing fingers) it will be my vert first hermes bag! I'd love to post pictures of it in the collection thread once I hear the verdict. Regards and thanks a million:love::love::flowers:

Dear expert, please help me authenticate this bag:

Item : Authentic Hermes Kelly 32 Brique
Listing number : MAL266190229
Seller : Mode In Luxe
Link : http://www.malleries.com/item.php?sID=2661&iID=90229
Comments : seller says the bag has number stamped (now erased) just below the " Made in France" logo, happened because the bag was reserved by Hermes staff, is this possible?
All the description doesnt clearly state if the bag is new or preowned (only pristine condition), already got reply from seller regarding to this, its a newbag according to them.

Many many thanks in advance! And merry christmas to you all!

Hermes does have sales for staff. This seller has a few bags for sale which they say come from an employee sale, and the numbers which are always blind embossed on the front of the bags so that they can be identified are removed in each case.

You will have to decide for yourself if this is OK for you. I have a doubt about whether the bags could be taken to Hermes for service. Not sure about whether it is OK or a good idea to remove the identifying stamps.

I do not have any issues related to authenticity with these pictures of the bag.

Just wanted to add that although the leather where the numbers were embossed may have been rubbed smooth to get rid of the numbers themselves, it is obvious that those numbers were there, and that may be enough for Hermes to refuse service on the bag.

I totally understand your point, and feel much grateful for your advice, as i myself wont notice about the service issue with H. No wonder they list it in a very bargain price, albeit it has O stamp and new. And mistikat, you are lovely too..thank u both...have a nice holidays you guys, i"ll be roaming the web again to find my soul-bag-mate... Cheers
