lvpiggy, I have this in a non-exotic, and two things aren't sitting well with me...

Anyone else?

Sorry, but that is a blatant fake and so are the other so-called "Hermes" items on that website.

Hi

thanx for your help
I had the same idea about the bracelet that it was not authentic

but what about the watch? can you give me your opinion please?
I purchased it but will receive it not before tomorrow
It is quite important to me :-(

Hi, need you opinion about this piece:

Name: Hermès Kelly watch bracelet
Bought: on a belgian website (I live in Belgium)
payed 195 $ for it

Thanx

Would need better photos, of the back of the strap, but l do not like what I am seeing at the moment.
but to be sure you need to post more photo's of the rear strap, back of watch and good close ups.

Hi,

I came across this belt on a website. Could you have a look and let me know what you think :smile1: Is this genuine or not?

Thank you!

Hi
I am back with the pictures

I received the watch today and I have to say it looks very good

The 'bracelet Hermes' mark is stamped into the leather bracelet;

On the watch pendant on the upper side where the pendant closes there is a number engraved 260746 (picture 4)
Seller told me that it was bougt about 8 years ago in France.
Please help me authenticate!

No, it is most certainly NOT a fake. please do not give authoritative advice on things you don't really know about. It can be very damaging to an honest sellers reputation.

I agree with you luxury-zurich: not a fake. I can see what was troubling lvpiggy and ardneish, but with vintage items there are certain details that can vary, so comparing to current models is not a foolproof method of authentication.

Exactly, which is why unless one is an expert one should refrain from authenticating. Questioning authenticity and posting your thoughts is one thing. To make an authoritative post that something is fake is another. You can't image what a headache it is for sellers to have to "clean up" after posts like this...someone says its a fake, the person who bought it freaks out, then person who sold it stresses out and contacts the person they originally bought it from..which in this case was me.....very frustrating.
