Funny you said that. Red and orange are my least favourite colour.
I love my pastel, especially pink.

I fell in love with Mandarin in Medium Selma when I saw it in the MK boutique while browsing one day. I had no intention of buying it but I couldn't get it out of my mind since I tried it on.
So I returned and purchased it full price 2-3 weeks later, I had to wait for the new shipment to arrive in Australia.

I find that I have been reaching for it a lot compared to other styles or colour.
It goes with everything surprisingly! I think its because I wear a lot black, grey and white.

I'm actually selling my medium fuchsia Selma w/ shw in order to make room for an aquamarine. I completely fell in love with this particular shade of blue, and paired with silver, it looks absolutely stunning.

I don't know why I never receive anything in the mail about Macy's FF sales anymore. When is this one happening? I NEED to pick up an aquamarine Selma and I'm not missing out on 25% off if I'm not too late!

If you have a Macy's near you, you could do a presale hold for 25% off and pick up on the 26th. Otherwise, the sale will start online on the 26th for 20% off.....:smile1:

I think you are getting the FF sale and VIP sale confused. FF sale is always 25% off even when it starts. The VIP sale is 25% if you pre-sale, once the sale starts the discount is only 20%.

So I saw aquamarine in person at Dillard's yesterday. I have to admit I'm kind of disappointed. Online it looks like it has a bit of a green undertone - more turquoise - but in the store, it looks like a true light, bright blue. It is pretty, but not the same color as in the MK photos.

But then I see some of the photos you ladies have posted and it does look a bit turquoise. Maybe the lighting in my Dillard's was just crappy? I'm wondering if I should just purchase and try her on at home under different lighting conditions to see if this is going to be the color for me.

I'm completely torn between aquamarine, mandarin, watermelon and pear now. Decisions, decisions!

MK blues don't look the same in pictures as they do in person. I always make sure to look at his blue colors in store.

Ubo...do you know how the turquoise compares to MK's aqua? I have the aqua but it's really more of a teal shade than a turquoise. I want a turquoise bag. The Aquamarine is a beautiful color but it's not close to turquoise.

Are you referring to the newer aquamarine color? If so, they don't compare at all! Turquoise has way more green in it. It's so hard to describe. When I saw it in store with dim lighting it almost looked like a sparkly, fluorescent green with some blue added in. It was really unique.
