I've also used it on my '06 & '07 Legacy, no problems at all. I apply a small amount to a clean dry cloth and rub it into the leather using a circular motion. Then I leave my bag(s) out to let it completely penetrate. If I am doing multiple bags at one time, I start with the lighter colors then to the darker colors. That way I can use the same cloth until I'm finished without fear of any color being/soil being transferred.

Have Fun!

hi, i was just wondering if anyone here has tried the apple conditioner on the lighter legacy colors like teal and rose? i use apple on the darker bags but am not sure if it is ok to use it on these lighter colors. any help would be appreciated!:confused1:

I've only spot conditioned my teal gigi, when I find a fingernail scratch I put a little Apple care lightly and it's fine. I probably could go ahead and do the whole bag but I don't feel compelled to just yet.

just curious, what does the apple conditioner do?
This is what their description says from their website www.leatherstuff.com

Conditions, cleans, and protects, all smooth leather in one.

Protects against stains such as perspiration, body oil, wine and grease.

Environmentally safe - no harmful CFCs

Dries quickly - will not leave residue or change the color or texture

Not for Nubuck or suede

I appled my gigi and it didn't change the color but made the leather more supple!

With all this new Legacy leather, I'd like to make sure it stays nice...

1) Are there stores at which these products can be purchased (I think someone mentioned AutoZone)?
2) Other than conditioning, are there other applications that should be used? (water-proofing etc...or maybe conditioning is a one-step process?)
3) How often should bags be conditioned?
4) Why is it Coach recommends against this practice? Seems strange when all you Coachies speak so highly of these products...are they different than what Coach sells?
5) Are the Legacy bags the only ones you condition?
6) Do you also condition other pieces...i.e. wallets etc?
7) Legacy Thompson Top Handle owners: can this bag be conditioned and/or waterproofed?

Thanks for any input! I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering these things...If this has been discussed, my apologies for bringing it up again:sad:
