Anyone tired of LV...

I get dry spells some time when I feel there really isn't anything new that I desire. I think you do reach a point where you have so much of it that you begin to appreciate it a little less. If you had one or two, they would be your ultimate babies. But if you have 20-30 bags or more...then they become the norm and lose some of their special place in your heart....if that makes any sense. JMHO.

Yes I'm tired about LV, I have lost all my enthusiasm for that brand. I have sold all my Mono and Damier bags, I only have the Suhali Lockit from LV and the Mini Lin Noé, which I like.

I see LV everywhere, Monos Monos Monos and Damiers Damiers Damiers!
I love Bottega Veneta, which is so understated und the leather is wonderful! I don't want to have LV bags no more...:nogood:

I go through phases too where I am totally obessed about LV:lawl:. I tried other designer bags like Gucci but always go back to LV. Right now I am just into accessories and not any bag in particular. I am just using the bags I bought 4 in less than a year so I can justify buying another one. :p

I think it is important to have various looks within the realm of your own personal style.

I personally get burned out wearing one brand head to toe and I truly enjoy interpreting the designer's vision yet interpret it in my own way (can you guess I work as a stylist?)...

I think that's completely normal! I was all about mulberry (and lv a little) last year and now I'm moved to miu miu (and lv a little) :p I wonder what i'm into next year..

I could see being a bit "over" LV if you wear it all the time and have "too much" of it (subjective term :P). Maybe it just means you should take a break for a bit until something really calls you back, you know?

Sometimes... I do not have that many things to begin with but I always manage to come back to my senses LOL. When I see someone carrying a LV it makes me think how good they look and perhaps I look good as well carrying it so I go back to my beloved small collection.

I am sort of feeling that way at the moment. But, for me, I think it has a lot to do with the economy and realizing that we have to pay a huge tax bill.

I've decided to spend my money on other things for a while. Just yesterday, I took my dd to get a new bedroom set. She is so excited and can't wait for it to get here. I got a lot more joy out of that than any bag..........

In this economy lets count our blessings that we can afford LV of any kind. Lots of people are having a hard time putting food on the table. Job loss is up, people are losing their 401k savings and can't afford their mortgage payments. Sorry to sound negative, but it is reality.

I agree. We should feel blessed as we can still afford LV. I drove to work this morning and there was hardly any traffic. I think it's because a lot of people got laid off or lost their jobs. This is only the beginning of the hard times. And it is reality.

Yep I too am not really feeling it for LV at the moment.

I did a 6 hour round trip the weekend just gone just to go to LV but sadly there is nothing taking my fancy and certainly no bags that are a patch on some of the ones I have.

I purchased a sweet monogram necklace and feel I may just buy the odd little thing now and then.
