My SA said they will open a new boutique in different part of Ginza in October.

Did you get either of them, or both?I wonder if the latest price increase was just too much for people. It was impossible for me to find a 10 motif onyx necklace or anything hammered gold in Japan on my last 4 trips but on this trip, on my first visit to the store, they were able to secure both metal hammered 5 motif bracelets and the 10 motif onyx necklace. Decisions…….
I had jumped the gun and already bought a pair of VA earrings on this trip thinking it would be a lost cause soooo definitely not buying both.Did you get either of them, or both?![]()
Just my 100-yen thoughts, go for the bracelet if you have other YG pieces anyway. It will be much harder to get compared to the 10-motif necklace...I had jumped the gun and already bought a pair of VA earrings on this trip thinking it would be a lost cause soooo definitely not buying both.Debating whether I want YG or RG hammered bracelet.

Cha-ching, 200-yen deposited... Please wait. All my VCA pieces are in YG so just wondering if I double down and always have a well coordinated set or get my first RG jewelry piece for more versatility. I have a RG watch that doesn’t have any companions at the moment. I will say YG seems a lot harder to get than RG hammered so wondering if it’d be a shame to let that go.
What do you think?! Need your 200-yen thoughts!

Definitely go for the YG - it will be an amazing complement to your other pieces. I am besotted with my 5 and 10-motifs in YG, and you can always add other RG pieces to your collection in the future to go with the watch.
I also think VCA's RG is not as pink as some other brands, and they go pretty well together with YG in my opinion.
I always thought I was going to go with a full RG set, given that I have the hammered pendant and sweet 6-motif bracelet, but when I set eyes on the YG 10-motif, I knew that was it.
To stay on topic - which Japan boutique are you planning to get these pieces?
You're welcome! Please keep us updated!Thank you!! You may have swayed me.
It’s the Nagoya Midland boutique. It’s the first time I made a reservation in Nagoya (went a few months ago as a walk in) so not sure if I’m just lucky this time or if I would’ve had the same luck if I had made an appt a few months ago. Of course would’ve saved a lot of money if I had gotten it pre price increase.![]()

Congratulations fellow bracelet-buddy!!!Thanks to @Prada Prince and @rikkuex for the food for thought… I was able to try both (still floored they were able to secure both) and went with YG. I’m officially at VCA peace, and then some!!!!!
FYI I did ask if hammered pieces are more available now and the SA said that it’s down to timing and luck but she did have an easier time getting these transferred from other boutiques than in the past. Hope that helps others.
