Have you seen the ginza mop special when you were at the ginza maison?

I was at the Ginza Maison today with a prior appointment (since I purchased from there before). My SA was able to get me the Ginza edition pendant and Im absolutely elated with the pendant!!

I didn’t take pics in the store but will see if I can upload them later.

Wahhhh I am so happy for you but also SO JEALOUS! Did your SA say whether stock was low? I am hoping to visit and add this to my collection this time (last time I totally didn’t know about it and missed out).

Please post photos so I can live vicariously through you!

Thank you I’m still so shocked too!!

It was my second time trying to get one (failed the first time too). My SA said they get around 2 limited edition pendants in one year. I also asked about the long Ginza Limited edition necklace and my SA also said she hasn’t seen it in around 2 years. Do keep trying as I think MOP itself isn’t a rare stone - they just don’t make enough of it!

The size is so perfect.

Would love advice as I’m planning a trip later in the year. Do you think the Yokohama store is more likely to have good stock (5 motif bracelets) compared to the Tokyo stores? I assume it’s less trafficked but seems like it’s a smaller store/inventory. :/ This may or may not factor in me dragging out family down to Yokohama.

^Was in Tokyo last week and went to a couple of stores, not really bent on getting anything specific but just casually shopping. I went to the Shibuya store, no 5 motif bracelets at all. Then on another day I went to the Ginza store and did not even manage to get in. I was there at 1PM and they already are fully booked for the rest of the day.

There’s always a huge queue before they open the morning, especially the Ginza store. Heard that people arrive way ahead to wait for the opening. Even with an appointment there’s a queue to go in.

Bracelets are scarce in stock at the moment cause they were all sold before the price increase.

If your plans are advanced enough, I would try and book as many appointments in the cities that you are visiting, schedule permitting. That way there's at least a chance of getting in without excessive queues as walk-ins. Whether there will be stock is a different question entirely though.

Congrats on this beauty. Love the texture of the MOP, make it look like a fluffy cloud ☁️

Hi everyone! I am going to Tokyo with my boyfriend for our three year anniversary in August. I was able to make two appts at Tokyo - Nihombashi Mitsukoshi and Tokyo - Seibu Shibuya. Do you think I will be able to find a ten motif blue agate necklace? Thanks!

I would reach out to both boutiques and ask if they can keep an eye out for you for the necklace in time for your appointments.
