For Rolex, the Air-King is a very conservative watch and has a great history. Since you have a ladies and a midsize, this would round out your collection as a larger, more "sporty" version. I am trying to make a decision (again) on what will be my only Rolex, and I am looking at the Date and midsize Yacht-Master, which are both close in size to the Air-King, so I support your need for a larger watch! :graucho:

pazt, do you have a pic of the one you're after? I don't think ive seen bling and roman numerals on an air-king before....i love air-kings too....

stupid me - i should have taken a photo while i tried them on...but i'll look for stock photos. the dia. are slightly smaller than the regular diamond markers due to the roman numerals underneath it :)

i'll look for stock photos....

here's a photo of the airking...replace those white markers as diamonds right next to the roman #. really pretty! its casual with a bit of bling....band is oyster but the dial is fluted (not this photo's dial).

^does it look busy with the diamond markers, roman numerals and the minute stick markers? you have me so curious now!!lol thanks for explanation and photo

IMO, i dont think so..it has the balance of casual big watch yet with dainty sophisticated details. i want the pink face. the silver face is equally gorgeous!

can't wait to see your pics, it sounds fabulous! im finding it hard to imagine as i think in the pic above the bezel is competing with the stick minute markers, imo. But i think the pink face is going to look spectacular!
