Anyone own a Cynthia Rowley bag??

I have a very cool, very large, hmmm, crescent-shaped (can't think of a better description) hobo in black with lots of metal studs. The leather is wonderful and durable, but the bag is a little heavy... (maybe it's all that metal hehe)

Well, I went for it so will post when it gets here and give a review! Should be here Monday, I believe. There was a designer who used Sari's (sp?) as the interior and I thought it was Cynthia Rowley. Anyone remember? I'm a sucker for gorgeous linings!

I first heard about CR via Antropologie - who always seem to stock a selection of her purses.

I would say that a lot - if not all of her purses that I have seen seem to fit in with that style - (slightly funky/feminine but you know it is good quality).

I have a small clutch and it certainly fits that critera - great quality leather, well designed, slightly 'distinctive' (not too much - but enough to know it is 'designer') hardware, great color, superior quality lining etc.

I think that you will be happy with your purchase - look forward to seeing pics....

Well, the bag arrived today and it is beautiful! The color is outstanding, the leather is incredible and the quality is exceptional. BUT. (I hate buts!) The bag is huge! It's about the size of the MBMJ Tina tote. It's just way too big for what I need which makes me so darn sad! For the price I paid, it's just not going to work for me. So, I'd recommend Cynthia Rowley bags based on this one bag. Too bad it's so dang big! LOL!

My daughter asked me to repair a small purse-size backpack that she bought in NYC last month. It is a Cynthia Rowley and the nearest I can find on the CR website is a model called a Brody. It is cute, attractive, fashionable and fun. However, as I start looking at options for repair, I am very disappointed in the quality of materials and construction. I believe I can repair it and somewhat hide the fact but there are more places on the bag ready to break or rip out. I am surprised by the posted price online for something of this quality and construction. Still very cute and I'll do my best to repair it.
