In a princess-cut, do you see a huge difference in size between a 1/2 carat and a .7?

I have a 3-stone princess cut e-ring and a 5-stone band. We picked the stones individually - they are VERY white and sparkle like crazy! This is my second marriage - I had round the first time, and wanted something different this time. The 2 rings have a real impact together - my center stone is only just over 1 carat, the side stones are just over 1/3 carat each, and the band has 5 stones that total about 1 1/3 total, so the effect is pretty nice. I love it!

Just saw a gorgeous princess cut in a B & M store. Specs are .5, VS1, G color, excellent cut. Price not in any setting is $1200. What do you think?
