I just love how everyone hears different things from the source. lol She is quoted in instyle as saying Cartier, red box, and it inspired her reception theme!

Yknow, it could very well be different from what he proposed with, maybe same diamond and different setting.

Who knows. But apparently we all have different sources that may or may not be accurate!

that she reset it it's totally my guess,but the diamond looks the same size to me,and since she was wearing the band at her neck around the same time,it made sense to me that she would have reset ehr stone to have the chance to wear it again.
Can it be that the ring was purchased trough XIV carat,but is a custom modified cartier?I'm just wondering :p And I rememebr her saying that part of her wanted a total black,gothic wedding,but in fear that a couple of years after she would regret it,they had a dark red gothic themed reception but a classic ceremony.
and from when I remember,she always had the same ring,and is the one in the pic,the solitaire.She got engaged in Venice,June 23 2005 (they got caught by paparazzi :push: ),and from june 26,every time she was photographed she had the same ring,up until the divorce.How she didn't had a ring?She got engaged during the bonez tour,and the ring always looked the same,the eternity band was her wedding band so she got it shortly after.I think it's a custom modified piece too,since the prongs looks to be heart shaped.
Oh,I think I got what you mean.I can't find the thread anymore (I think it got deleted,I'm not sure) but I remember it being from just a couple of months after the engagement (i was hoping for wedding details,that's why I was brosing the board :D) and it was there.Also,i rememebr finding the same information somewhere else,but we are talking about almost five years ago and my memory is not that good anymore,I guess i'm getting old :nuts:

It is amazing all of the info we can read and find about a celebrity and their jewelry. And I do feel for celebrity couples that can't have ANYTHING be sacred, and the paparazzi HAS To be there. It's neat to have a photo memory of the proposal but to not even have a nice quiet alone proposal would SUCK. I do not envy that life.

However...I do envy that ring! Wherever it might actually be from or whatever it might actually be!

i do feel bad for celebs in that way, i envy their matierial items but at the cost of no privacy, no thanks
they have to be perfect or they get slated . i've seen those videos where britney spears is alone crying begging paparazzi to go away and they keep harrassing her , its sick, she's only human. people can be so cruel to other people

also i was wrong about the ring. i think the engagement ring is from the beverly hills jewellers just as you said and the others are probably the ones instyle meant as they are the wedding rings ... so they were both right IMO

Ok,I haven't found the same thread I originally got the information from (I think it got deleted...maybe Avril didn't wanted the information public,after all?:shrugs:),but someone posted it again in 2007.some people say it's a canadian diamond,but i have no idea about that.

It may very well be ;) Oh,and also I forgot to answer your question,sorry!!I just collect her music cd's and dvd's,and I got an abbey dawn shirt,but that's it.I love her music,o I prefer putting the (little,sigh)money I have on her live concerts and her music projects :D

I should have gone in 2005,but I got a fever the day before the show and sold the ticket to a friend..I regret it so much.I should have gone anyway.Bonez tour was her best tour so far,for me.I went in 2008,with my husband,as an anniversary present :nuts: the vocals were great,but I didn't liked the dancers and the scenography :(
