This is my ring. Was custom made. 3.02 ct central stone G-color, SI1-clarity. 2ct.t.w. band. G-color, SI1. Both set in platinum. total $42 000.00 2 years ago.

I wouldn't consider getting it somewhere else as getting a copy of this. This is a very basic combo, offered most anywhere. It's beautiful in its simplicity.

Check out Blue Nile's diamonds and eternity bands. That'll give you an idea of the cost of a non-designer-labeled set. And you wouldn't be compromising in any way.

Avril engagement and wedding ring were purchased at XIV carats in beverly hills.When she got engaged she said it to her bandaid site owner.if you look closely at her wedding band (in a bigger pic)the prongs are shared and heart shaped;her solitaire is really between 2.5/3 ct.she is tiny,like a size 4 fingers tiny.oh,and all three her rings were actually 18 kt white gold,not platinum.hope it help :smile1:

Where is that information published? Because I read that it was Cartier in several places, including InStyle, InStyle Weddings and People, as well as online various sources. If it's really XVI Karats, then InStyle and InStyle Weddings LIED! ...as if I'd be surprised.


(that diamond looks not so good on my 27" monitor)

I am saying that if they published by InStyle that I would be shocked if it was inaccurately printed, they are usually extremely accurate. I will have to find the issues I read it in to see if I can take a photo of it and post it, and or the following issues to see if there was any sort of retraction published if they were wrong.

i don't think it's been published in a magazine,but if you search online you might find it.I say might because it was actually an information from Avril herself.I'm a member on the bigger avril fan board around the web,that's been online since early 2003,and the site owner has quite a good relationship with Avril and her management (she has Avril manager phone number,as they often get in contact for exclusive interviews or events just for the site.in 2007 some of the forum members spent Avril birthday with avril herself,and so on),and they met several times,and I remember when Avril got engaged on the board they said Deryck bought the rings from XIV carats.
As for what amgazine says,I remember some time ago a magazine (don't remember wich,thought) saying that the ring was a custom made from tiffany,5 carats :rofl: that would have been bigger than her finger XD

I think she reset the stone in her engagement ring in an halo right hand ring.She had it on at the Alice in wonderland premiere,and the stone looked the same ratio against her fingers,to me.as for her eternity band,she had it on the same chain she had on when she got married in her Alice music video :D

can i just point out how could avril have told the bandaid person where her ring was from when she got engaged .... her engagement ring is a totally different ring
i think you mean the engagement ring
we are talking about the big diamond ring that's with her wedding set, it's different if you look closely
she didn't have this ring back then so she couldn't have sorry

yeah i know the ring is worn with the tiffany cross in her alice music video. are you a big avril fan? i am :smile1:

I don't understand what you mean.the solitaire is her engagement ring.she had two wedding bands,a plain gold one and the eternity.On her one year anniversary,she got another eternity band,smaller.I have no idea were that band came from,thought.
and yes,I've always been an Avril fan :D I distintely remember being said on the board that the rings were form XIV carats.I will look to see if I find the post again ;)

the engagment diamond ring, is not the same as the big diamon ring in her wedding photos ... this is what i mean. then she couldn't have told anyone what it was as she didn't have that one .
do you have many jewellery or clothes same as avril if you dont mind me asking. feel free to pm me if you prefer. i collect stuff she's worn im a huge fan lol
