Anyone have a Oryany bag?

I just bought one last week, in the black colour. Saw it in Neiman Marcus then after googling it, Nordstrom has it cheaper. For some reason I was lusting over a black leather bag so decided to look for one online. Other people seemed to like it too (from the reviews) I thought for the price I couldn't go too wrong. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Just LOVE love this bag, an unexpected surprise, love finding bags I haven't seen before and that I don't see lots of people carrying around; something quite sassy about this bag. The teal is great & don't know about you girls but I think it goes with everything. Can't wait to wear it in the Fall. Best part was getting it at Nordstrom during Anniversary sale ...gotta love it. Who cares if you've heard of brand before? If you're drawn to it, go for it!

I picked up the "Gwen" bag a couple weeks ago on the first day of the Nordie's sale. I usually never buy a bag that I am unfamiliar with, but the leather had a great texture and was buttery soft. I just couldn't resist. I have it in the camel color which is not listed on the web. I'll post pictures this weekend. It is actually more of a saddle/whisky color which is exactly what I was looking for.

Hi everyone,

I realize that this is a rather old thread, but since the topic is "anyone have a oryany bag?", thought I'd keep it going in case someone does a search on Oryany in hopes of finding an answer to a question.....so here goes!

I was just in Nordies paying a bill & was drawn in by the new purses (although we all know it doesn't take much to stop n look! Lol).....I scoped out the Oryany hobo I saw in the sept catalog. I fell in love w her!....She is $198 & came in several colors-I don't remember all of the Oryany assigned color names, but she came in several colors: there was burgundy, redwood (the color that was in the catalog), a dark/chocolate, a scarlet (a rich, warm red but not over the top), a very deep, dark turquoise/sea green color, black, and stone (a light grey/champagne-y color....which is the one I bought)....all hardware was gold.....also wanted to mention that she wears very close to the body and is very nice and soft! So so soft! Nordies is running their triple rewards points promo from Sept 22-26 (I think that's the end date) if you're a cardholder, so I'm picking mine up on the 22nd, & can't wait! :) Check her out online or IRL if you get a chance, & lemme know what ya think!

I must admit, I tend to purchase hobos w caution due to the "pit" factor, but I'm hoping my purse organizers will help correct this problem. Once she gets home and I have her stuffed w my junk, I'll let you know how the shape holds up. Wish me luck bc I'd looooove to keep her-she is so so so so buttery soft! (And I hope I can figure out how to post some dang pics....for some reason, I keep getting an error.....something along the lines of "uploads disabled"-is this bc I'm a newbie & not allowed to post photos yet?)

There are some really nice Oryany bags...they sell them at Neiman Marcus as well. This one is nice but the handle put me off a tad. There are some others with a more neutral handle.

I have had mine for about three months and LOVE it. I carry it just as much as my pricier bags, and it is wearing very well. I was actually thinking of buying another one! I have gotten a ton of compliments. I look forward to seeing the bag that you all choose. Ameladybug--I hope you enjoy your bag as much as I do!

I just ordered the Redwood color in this bag seriously maybe 5 minutes ago. I'd never heard of the brand, but the bag looks divine and has fabulous reviews on Nordstrom's site. I can't wait to get it in and see how well she does loaded. I'm hoping it'll feel like my Rebecca Minkoff Nikkis that I love so much. If I love it, I may have a new bag obsession! :p

I have two Oryany bags, and while I love them both, I can't say that I'm overwhelmed with the quality. The leather on both bags is lovely and thick, but it wears quickly, showing scuffs and faded color, particularly on the bottom of the bags. I have had one of the bags for less than a month, and I took it in for repairs today as one of the sides came unstitched.
