I went to a Parisian store last week to ask about the bear, and my SA didn't know if it was going to be available in France sometime soon. She did say that if ever it’s available on the French website, Tiffany will ship it to me from the states. Too bad, I wish I could see it in person.

Tiffany.com has 2 sizes of brown bears: 10’ and 16’. White bear (10’) was a limited edition in Japan. It was only available there. I have seen few of them are sold on EBay for a crazy price.
I was just checking them out and came across 10’ brown bear that looks a bit different from mine ( I got mine at Tiffany.com). What you guys think? Is that a different version or fake? It doesn’t have a logo on the ear from Steiff.

I think it looks like it might be fake. The fur doesn’t look very soft. I’ve been wanting one of these bears for awhile now, but it’s hard for me to justify spending hundreds on a stuffed animal. They’re so cute, though!

The bears are so cute! I have been debating getting one for my daughter for two years now. I wouldn’t want her playing with it, though, which seems like an unfair thing to do to her! :P
