Anyone else not care for white bags?

Can't do white bags either... not quite sure why because I do admire them on others occasionally... I think it's a combination of ALL the reasons listed above ^^ ... too bright, scared of them, have a son, etc, etc.

No white for me because it would quickly become grey at best, and spotted at worst. I can go ages without spilling something on me, bu thte one time I try white... <sigh> White pants/skirts scare me too-I'd never be able to sit down!

I love white!! I love white jeans, white tops, white shoes, white bags but I end up totally ruining everything! See me right there<<<< dressed in white. I'm sure I spilled something on myself that night. I need to wear all my white stuff and stand myself up in the corner and not move!

There are only a few things in life that I'm sure of...and never having a white bag is one of them. Don't like 'em for a multitude of reasons....I would never wear a pair of white "pumps" either...Eekk! I suppose that I'm not a real "girly" girl...I like a handbag that you can just throw your stuff in, grab and go. No, a white bag would never work for me.

I just cannot do a white bag--I don't know why. For that matter, I can't do patent leather, either. It reminds me too much of those mary janes I had to wear in 2nd grade (remember those little white socks that you folded down & had lace around the edges?). My dislike of white might also be due to the fact that I have 2 little boys. Anyone else like this?

OMG!! i agree completely!! i dont own any white bags either, or patent leather. its just not appealing. idk why, maybe the white is just too stark? and the patent leather, although ive seen it accenting bags beautifully, generally tend to look cheap or something?

I have one white bag, haven't used it yet, plan to have it for the summer and just as an occasional bag for variety .. never really thought I'd have one, but as my collection is growing I figured it would be a nice addition.

I never liked white bags until I saw this amazing BV but unfortunately it had beige glue marks so I didn't get a white bag.
I don't like white shoes except for sneakers.
I really don't like patent and that's a material where I can say I would never ever buy a patent bag. IMO it looks tacky and cheap but different folks- differnt strokes.

I used to not like white, but it has grown on me. I bought my first white bag EVER this year. I've had ivory bags before, but never white-white. I still don't own any white shoes.

This is exactly the reason I can't get in on the patent craze! I just can't get past it.
As for white handbags, I used to think NO WAY, too old lady, but now I'm thinking that, on the right bag, I could maybe do it. Don't have one yet, though.
