Pocketbook Pup, Thanks for sharing an update and pictures of your bracelet.

I was not a member yet when I first read your post and had wondered how the story ended. I am glad you got a happy ending.

Your Cartier bracelet is beautiful and you wear it very well. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much dear. I'm happily wearing my bracelet very often. I love it more than I anticipated. I decided to forego the engraving because I thought it was going to be another fiasco that I didn't need.

I've only recently tumbled down the jewelry rabbit hole, but these types of stories only reinforce my initial impression from my local Cartier boutique. I don't understand how they think this is acceptable. I was turned off by them from my initial experience at Cartier and instead turned to Bulgari and Chopard which have thoroughly impressed me with their customer service. There are so many other options out there.
I fully agree. We had a terrible experience at the Brussels store recently. It was on Tuesday, not crowded at all. There’s only 1 customer being served. We were told to sit at a corner. A few SAs were running around acting busy and avoiding eye contact with us. Another couple who came after us were seated at another area waiting. If I was not wrong, I thought I saw 2 other potential customers came in and left. We were very disappointed with this attitude, especially when it’s the time of the year for gifts shopping. I have had better experience several years ago, when I bought my Love bracelet and Trinity GM ring. However this time, hubby wanted to gift me the rainbow Love ring as anniversary present, but we felt so unwelcome at the Brussels store, so we left. It’s not difficult to spend our money elsewhere as we just needed to step in next door and we had the most wonderful experience at Bvlgari. It’s the type of customer service anyone would expect from buying luxury products. Anyway, thanks to Cartier for offering us such a bad experience that I can easily remove those items from my wish list. There are much more options out there than we know. It’s time for us to explore!
