Anyone else feel somewhat embarrassed about LV?

With these big money people I am getting scared to be here. I mean my hubby has one of his bodyguards accompany me while we are dropped off in his private helicopter when I go shopping at Walmart. We only take the yatch when we shop on Worth Ave., Palm Beach.

Well, you’re obviously entitled to think and feel however you want. I agree with your sentiments regarding wear what you love, but your generalization of everyone on this form as “katty girls, who save up all year to buy a neverfull and pretends to have money” is rude. I have found just the opposite on this form. But to each his own.

I never feel embarrassed exactly, but maybe a little defensive. I never care what strangers think of the bags I chose to carry, and most of my friends and acquaintances either don't say much, but if they do comment it's to compliment the bags. The people I feel defensive with over my bags are oddly enough my family members! Every time I get a new bag, my sister gets online and finds out how much I paid for it and immediately runs to my mother to "rat me out". Very immature, I know...especially considering the fact that she herself enjoys buying lots of designer goods. She just doesn't tell our mom how much SHE spends for her bags, shoes, sunglasses, etc. I suppose I could return the favor, but I refuse to stoop to her level.

Both my mom and my sister give me a hard time for spending so much money on my LV collection. I don't really understand it, either. They both have what they like and I don't give them a hard time about it. Neither one of them is really a big fan of LV, though and I think that might be a part of their issue. They don't understand why I would chose to have so many bags and spend so much money on a brand that they consider to be unattractive. Most of the time these days I choose to use a bag of a different brand when I'm going to be around them. I know that's me wimping out, but it's easier than endlessly explaining my choices to people who will never see my POV.

I feel weird when I carry mine around certain friends but since I bought most of them preloved plus all of them are epi and therefore not as noticable I don‘t think they even know they are LV.

I switched out my SpeedyB25 that I used religiously to work everyday for the Prada Esplanade. Never had any issues, word just goes round very fast when I get a new bag and all the women want to touch and hold it. I’m never embarrassed but some situations I prefer to use my Longchamp instead.

yes i Took my big fat pink Marshmallow purse, YSL ROSE PINK Quilted purse, To freakn Target! stood in the starbucks line for coffee, and women just stared n stared at my YSL purse trying to figure out the Brand lol im sure they googled it.I LOVE MY PURSES, and yes Ill wear my Hermes to walmart to buy a snickers bar and tampons! i dont give a Damn.Wear what you love ladys, let those insecure haters drool over your purses, its not our fault we have good taste.
