Yep, broke here as well.

Supposedly January 24th (coming up in a few days) is the most universally depressing day of the year, because people are most broke from holiday shopping (for themselves) and all New Year's resolutions have been broken. So it's not limited to just bag fanatics.

Why 1/24 this particular date? ::scratching my head::

Count another person! I am broke, only pennies left! Well in a month I will only $800 to spend. I wonder what bag to buy. I think I should save it though? But after that I will be for sure broke.

Hell yes!!! I work in public interest law which makes the shopping habit really tough. I have to plan out my purchases in advance and take dog sitting jobs to help bankroll my bags. It's worth it though because I absolutely LOVE my job and wouldn't trade it for a job in corporate law despite the fact that I could be earning 3 times the amount of money...At least I think I wouldn't. LOL.

But if I keep buying purses, probably my husband will say no for the new car! So new car? or new purses???. Sounds like a stupid questions but bet anyone else can relay on that! .

Yeah my Fi has started telling me how many "pocketbooks" our future house costs, much like those Wendy's commercials for the 99cent menu. Example: "Well, this one is only 400,000 pocketbooks. So that's how many pocketbooks we have to save." Translation, how many bags I can't buy!!:shame: BUT, I don't carry a credit card balance, and I really try not to spend money I don't have yet in the bank, even if it's coming in the next paycheck. :D
