Anybody have any real life experience with Deadly Ponies bags?

I have 3 and they are all great bags. One is not my style may be put on the sale block soon. This is not because there is anything wrong with it at all. It doesn't fit my things, or rather my things do not fit it, lol. The other two are keepers and if I had any spare money there is one more style that tempts me if I can find it on sale somewhere. I have the Mr. Siamese, the Mr. Verne and the Mr. Octo. It is the Siamese that does not work for me.
I like the look of the green Mr. Cayman Twist if I could find it on a nice sale, lol
I'm was really intrigued with DP and bought two bags from them. But they were itty-bitty. I guess I just didn't pay attention to the dimensions of the bags or I didn't correctly convert centimeters into inches. And they were not cheap bags. I really want to get the gator in green/forest bubble leather but am bag-shy now with this brand. (I just bought quite a few bags too...) I will also wait for a sale.
Lol I did the same thing. I bought one and when I opened the box and pulled it out it was TINY! DP is a fabulous product, but their sizes and names do not go together. A. "Midi" can be tiny and in another style a mini is not what we think of as a mini. I am very careful to check the sizes.
Finally home and able to look...the Phantom duffle looks pretty gorgeous...
It does! And there is a mini version on sale on one site. But I don'tknow if they ship to the US? Here is my favorite DP. I spend my life trying to figure out how to convert long messenger straps (which I hate) into shoulder straps. Because of the offset handle it was easy to do with this one and looks better than they usually do when they are doubled, lol.
I also like the soft corded hand carry handle which is new this year.
If you don’t mind me asking, what styles did you order that you found to be tiny? I have my eye on the mini tulip and mini Caiman but am thinking these (especially the mini tulip) might be too small for me. Also looking at a Mr Leopard..
Mini Caimin and Mr. Boxette. I'm a big girl (tall and wide) so mini bags, even small bags, look ridiculous on me. The Gator bag is more my size.
The one I got that was so tiny was the mini armadillo. I have mentioned before that their use of the terms midi and mini are all over the place. I love their bags. I just get out the tape measure and make sure I know exactly what the sizes look like. I think the small Octo in red is simply killer, but it measures really small.
Thanks for your reply! I wish they had the bigger sizes of both styles available, especially the caiman twist. I don’t think mini would look good on me either, even if I think it looks cute on its own.
