I hope you'll manage to locate it in States though. That way, it saves you a lot of trouble.

Will they even respond? I've tried calling some of the Hermes stores here in the US to locate a Birkin and most of them won't even talk to you!

none of them will sell a "cold caller" - that means a stranger on the phone - a birkin. there is just too much demand. many will not even tell you on the phone what they have in stock unless they know you.
i have seen that kp in gold swift.....paris does a lot of window display stuff that mrsmorris is right, it is for display only...but maybe you can special order or get something very like it. good luck!

I talked to Wall Street today, and the lovely SA there (thanks icechick!!!) is going to call Paris when she gets back on Thursday. She thought that the bag looked like a "proper" Kelly Pochette, but larger. She also said that sometimes they make special things for display that are not for sale. BUT, I think LTC said she saw a price of @3200euros on it, so maybe they do have one for sale!!!
I think it looks larger too. I sent the pic to my SA for his opinion. This the exact KP I am waiting for. Sure hope it comes soon!!!
Well, ladies, it's now Saturday, Yom Kippur. The DAY of Atonement. I am repenting my sins, aplogozing to those I have wronged. I am also thinking about that KP IN THE STORE WINDOW!!!! I have not heard anything from the SA in Wall Street, so my hopes are fading...
