I am almost 36.

I just bought the Coach Skull Charm and sport it proudly!

You can also catch me wearing Dr Martens and skater type shoes. And I have a couple of tattoos *gasp*

I dont look 36 and refuse to change who I am. Age is nothing! :graucho:

I have 4 tattoos, used to have my nose pierced up until about 33 when my husband had to cut his butt length dreadlocks off for a job...support, you know. Plus, I had it for 15 yrs! Time for a change.

Not old yet :) Don't wanna be either! Thanks for the enablin girls!

I just turned 33 and am having much more fun with my handbags now than I ever did before! I love my little Ergo purse that hangs from the Tote! I have a pig that's on my key chain. A star is on my Legacy bag.
I say go for it!!

Well, all of this talk about age and charms makes me LOL. I'll be 49 very shortly and don't have a single charm but have been giving them a good deal of thought. There may be one in my future yet!

I'm 34 and I think it would be cruel, ageist, and sexist to expect women of certain ages to conform to some kind of dowdy, plain dress code for their handbags.

It's all up to the individual, and to be perfectly frank, most people are too busy thinking about their own lives and problems to worry themselves whether your handbag looks "too young" on you. Carry what you like and what suits your personal style.

^^what she said! (except I'm 36, lol)

I'm mid thirties, and I think that women this age(30s and 40s) are still very young. In the past, I've made a few attempts to be more 'mature' in my dress, but after several years on the corporate rows, I'm just not interested.

Plus, when trying to choose between two purses at the outlet recently, one (more conservative), a woman about my age and dressed to the nines told me to take the other one.

She said, "Oh, that's WAAY too old for you!"

Nuff said.

I have a Libra charm on my keychain and am hunting for just the right charm for my leather slim flap.

Plus, having young girls always gives you an excuse to stay young.

My mom just turned 60 and she likes charms, too!

Wise words ladies... I couldn't agree more with everyone.

I am going to be 30 by the end of this year. I am a health care professional so I have encountered many women of different ages. A lot of them still have that "oh I am 36 with 2 kids and I am getting old" mentality. I always tell them, no you look great (and they truly look wonderful). Age is just a number and you shouldn't let a number dictate how you should live your life. You should use your age as your advantage because that is years of accumulation of wisdom. To me, that is THE definition of sexy/hotness/beauty.

So, if you feel like some bag charms, go for it and get the ones you like and please post pics if you do get some charms.

My daughter tells me all the time I pick out PJs that look too old for me, bags etc. Yet !!! I can't buy something that she would wear, then I am too young looking. It is hard finding something middle of the road ya know!

I just read somewhere (People, or Style or something) that 40's are the new 20's!!! So, in that case, that makes us teenie-boppers!!! Ha! Rock those charms and colors, girl!
