Yes, I expected h.com to be much more depleted after Christmas.

My SA in the US told me that the price increase will be mid January and it will be 9-10% on everything except maybe shoes and RTW . She said it will roll out gradually, for example, jewelry and SLG's first, then scarves, then bags etc (not sure of the order).

I too think Silk will have a big increase here in Canada. Right now the price of a 90cm scarf is $420 CAD, which is almost too good to be true especially considering the weak Canadian dollar. Other brands for example Ferragamo already increased their 90 silk to $415 but their scarves are like half the weight of a H 90 silk. Not to mention some other brands are already selling their 90 silk at a higher price than $420. Maybe I should visit the boutique before January to see if I can get myself any SS2015 scarves at the current good price.

They are right: for Europe there will be a price increase on Jan 2nd (as every year) and that's where they mainly buy!

I haven't asked my SA yet but plan to stop by the store next week. I expect our Canadian price increase to take place around the same time as the US (mid-Jan like 2014 may be?). I wish they have gotten more SS scarves/shawls in.

Thank you all for this information. I hadn't realized the price increase was happening so soon.

I was going to wait a couple of months to buy a second Twilly, but I think I'll pull the trigger tomorrow (January 1). I always say "start the new year as you mean to go on," so what better way to ring in 2015 than by buying a lovely scrap of silk!:graucho:

I would expect a hefty increase for at least 90cm silks in Canada. They are currently priced at $420CAD, whereas they are $435USD. Prices for other items run consistently @10% higher for Canada, so this seems like it's ripe for correction soon....
