I have never seen that particular color wallet, but I do have this wallet in oxblood and it's lovely, set up nicely, love the turn lock and the leather and color are rich and very nice!

I went to the SAn francisco store (an hour drive) and was very disappointed with the "oil slick" hardware. Its a dull matte and not all hardware is oil slick, some its gunmetal. I like the dakotah design but those details were sloppy and I do not appreciate that. That's why i passed, regardless of the 30% off deal. I wish they had the holographic dakotah instead

I noticed that from the pictures... the dakotah had gunmetal on the hangtag, the hangag ring, and the adjustable part of the strap whereas the rhyders had oil slick hardware for everything as far as I can tell. Why they do that only for dakotah I wonder? It disappointed me too.

I ordered the Rhyder crossbody and I personally like the matte hardware idea... But I haven't seen it in person yet.

I could've written this post. I also went yesterday but just with the intention of getting the Swagger swingpack in metallic cherry. Tried on the Nomads. Tried to resist temptation. Looked at the turnlock bags. I am someone who prefers pockets and compartments so was hoping to like the turn lock hobo, but it was blah. I ended up with the navy Nomad. Oops. But I did get 30% off because of the PCE. Did you get your discount?

I saw this wallet today---the color I wanted looked completely different. It was more purple than it looks in the pix.

Also saw the iridescent Ryder--the hardware look spray painted...it had a matte finish. It made me think that it might flake over time with wear.

In the end I left empty handed...which just means I will have to go shopping again next weekend!:p

I did use my discount! But - I am having a brief affair with Tory Burch:cool: (I had an amazing outlet experience) , and their FP is having a 30% off sale this week, so I am not sure if I am keeping Nomad (I already have oxblood)...but... there will be a purse box under my Christmas tree!

well the rhyders have the zipper thats gunmetal but that doesnt bothr me as the dakotah details. I just already have 2 rhyders in smaller sizes. im more of a small bag girl
