Any Celine Purchases You Regret?

I regret my Medium Trotteur, the rounded saddle shape is not my style even though it looks beautiful on others.

I regret my black Small Trotteur, it’s too small, doesn’t even fit my sunglasses and the Clasp has opened several times and my card holder has fallen out on the street that’s why I never use it anymore.

My Celine Mini Luggage bags are great quality and beautiful leather but too bulky for my short height. My Phantom Luggage is also too heavy for my height. But I love these bags and highly recommend if you’re looking for a large bag.

I love my Nanos the best. Celine Trio is so simple and practical best purchase ever. My Micro Belt bag is fabulous too.

I have come to realise that I can only deal with medium and Small bags now, I just don’t have the patience for big heavy bags anymore no matter how beautiful they look online. Mini bags which don’t fit my needs are also a pet peeve for me now.

I keep going back and forth about the trotteur. There something about it that everytime I see it I fall in love especially in the neutral colors. I think it’s the hardware, but like you the saddle shape is not really me. That being said I just repurchased the small trotteur in ballerina I had returned. I couldn’t get it out of my head. It’s not super practical (but I have many bags that are not [emoji38]) but is so simple and elegant I can’t resist. I wish the compact size fit my frame better. It’s be a better choice but it looks odd on me. Hope I don’t regret getting the small [emoji31]

Hi the Small looks great but not practical for me at all. The compact is the perfect size in my opinion but I think they’re all being discontinued soon. I’m sure you’ll love the Small size. :)

Just two -- I returned a lovely trotteur that just wasn't functional for me. I kind of wish I hadn't now because the color was divine and I am awash in dark neutrals.

The other is a python cabas hobo -- i don't regret it, per se, i just never use it any more (it was my first celine when hobos were all the rage and i couldn't afford a luggage yet)

Although it seemed like hobos were going to have another moment, it was short-lived. It's a very expensive pool bag now. Oh well. I have a hard time letting go of anything!

The only regret(s) for me would be the bags I've purchased in Drummed Calfskin. Through trial and error, I'm glad I figured out early on that I'm more of a Natural Calfskin kind of girl when it comes to Celine. I love some bags in Smooth Calfskin and Lambskin also!
I just bought the "mini" Céline Belt bag in the Drummed Calfskin. The bag is really pretty but it's hard to keep the iconic shape because the leather Drummed Calfskin is too soft in the corners.

Where did you sell your pre-loved Celine bags? I might let go of some purses of mine but want to get the most out of their re-sale value so I'm trying shop around for where to sell them : )
Where are you located? In France, Vinted is quite popular (the buyer pays the fees, not the seller). I also recently discovered Depop.
Trying to sell my black Céline Mini Belt bag. I find that it's annoying to get into and a little too bulky for the Paris metro life... haven't been able to sell it yet but Vinted especially gets a lot of traffic.

I love my small black trotteur but I've started using it as an evening/going out bag because it fits very little (although I am am able to put my sunglasses inside with a small wallet, iphone8 and keys).I don't have that many keys, but I noticed that since the leather inside is so soft, the keys scratch the leather. Starting putting my keys in a little pouch so I wouldn't scratch the leather inside. That being said, the downside is I worry that opening the flap to get in and out of the bag too much will ruin the bag ...It was my first splurge so I really try to be careful with it. it.

My dream would be to have the box bag... but it's so expensive and it looks like they scratch on the outside very easily. Should I save up for it though? The medium seems like the perfect size. Thoughts?

I've seen a lof of negative posts about the Trio... I find myself wanting the bag because it's simple and elegant while also being functional (love that it can be worn cross body). I think I want the larger version dark grey zinc/elephant grey color (trying to change things up a little since I have a lot of black bags and I mostly wear black...but wanted a color that will be easy enough to match with any outfit). I want a bag that's easy to get in and out of but also can fit the essentials. I live in Paris and I'm in and out of the metro a lot so I wanted a cross body bag that chic and can elevate my outfit but also have some space to carry more than my trotteur.

Should I avoid a trio or get one?

Sorry for the long post!

I have owned all three of these bags.

The Trio holds the most and is still my favorite designer bag to date. It’s understated and the functionality of the bag is incredible. My oldest Trio is from 2013 and it still going strong and shows no signs of breaking.
