Any Bvlgari / Bulgari wearers out there?

New to this thread, need some advise and hope you can share your experiences.

I have been looking for a pinky ring and really love the serpentine viper ring, full pavé in WG. I have tried the various interations; semi, no diamonds, different metals and feel that the full pavé WG can be worn both as a dressed up statement piece but also more casually if that makes sense.
I had considered the RG as it is more toned down and fits my pale skin tone really nicely but have decided WG is the one I like the most.

I want an everyday piece, my only hesitation is how much care one must take and if banging/snagging can be an issue? Any experience you can share?

I wear a plain WG Cartier JUC small on my right pinky (right handed) and while I love it and no regrets at all. it does get caught and banged on everything. I mean it is a nail after all so hammering into it every now and then makes sense.

(I would wear the Bulgari on my left hand to keep more passive).

Is full pavé risky or can it be worn relatively carefree?
Hey there! I have the full pavé rose gold single coil Serpenti Viper Ring. I bought it exactly almost one year ago and it’s honestly been fine. Since it’s flexible, I’m able to wear it on a couple different fingers on both hands (EXCEPT the pinky though, since I know that is the finger you are the most interested in), and I wear it daily, and it honestly looks just as good as the day that I bought it. At the time I got it last year, I only had the choice of the full pavé or the full gold… the demi pavé wasn’t available back then, as in they weren’t selling it at all. It’s funny because I told my SA that I wished it came in Demi pavé, because I also bought the single coil rose gold bracelet. Of course now that the Demi pave HAS come out, I have become too attached to my full pave and don’t want to downgrade lol. Maybe I will buy a Demi in the future as an additional ring, but for now I am ok.

ANYWAY, I don’t think you need to worry about the full pave. It doesn’t snag on anything, but I do live in Florida and don’t really wear many sweaters or things it COULD snag on. I wear the ring daily, but of course I do take it off if I am doing something like dishes, cleaning, going in the pool, showering, playing sports, gardening, or just anything that could potentially damage it.. just use common sense! At the same time, I don’t fully baby it and it has stood up fine to daily life. From what I hear, it’s pretty uncommon for diamonds to fall out of Bulgari jewelry, but it can be fixed if that happens. I live near a store, but I would imagine you could call customer service and work something out with them, or hopefully you get it insured!

Thanks so much. This is super helpful and insightful. Definitely reaffirms my choice and I think my mind is made up.
The only thing I am contemplating is whether to get it in store or check out the pre loved market, but have not found saving to be made big enough to go that route. Still have some time as I want to save up and contempalting another bag before I pull the trigger on the ring. But I do also believe I would get the most use of getting a piece of jewellery. :)

Btw, if anyone is interested, a bunch of Royal Caribbean ships have Bulgari (and other luxe boutiques) on board. And you can negotiate price with them. Depending on the piece you can get anywhere from 5% to a little more than 20% off. Plus it's duty free.
Virgin Cruise also have a Bulgari Store (Jewelry, watches and handbags) . Its duty free. not sure of the discount though.

Have you find their stock is very low? Every time I've wanted to try something, they don't have the size I need. Or they have the single earring but not two to make a pair. I did see some items on sale but didn't know you could negotiate! Thanks for the tip! They also have Cartier, sort of a joint store, but it's a shame they carry the watches and not the other jewelry. I would think they'd make a killing if they sold at least the bracelets.

I asked about jewelry in the Cartier store and they basically said they don't have the space to hold as much inventory and variety as they would need. Maybe that'll change down the road? I was also told that except for Effy and another store on board (I don't remember which one, maybe the souvenir/logo ones), the same company runs all the shops.

I had actually come in to ask about an older piece that I didn't really expect to find because the availability is so limited now (B.zero legend rose gold and diamond ring) and was pleasantly surprised they had it in a few different sizes and materials to try on different fingers. That one I got at about 23% off. I also ended up picking up a current piece (B.zero mini pendant), but that one they were only offering 5% off, since it was current. Plus of course the duty-free savings. I didn't know they would negotiate, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask, so I'm glad that I did.

I think they get new inventory every cruise, so it may be a matter of getting lucky. I'd definitely go on the first day of the cruise though, when they have the most inventory. They did hold the ring for me for a day as I wanted to think about it (and google availability and price, lol), so there's no pressure to buy at first sight.

Btw, Effy negotiates too. And a lot more than Bvlgari. Mom got a really, really good deal on a platinum diamond ring.

I don't know if it's all Royal Caribbean ships but the main jewelry store in the promenade is owned by LVMH! My husband bought me a tanzanite and my warranty came from LVMH and I had to send it to Florida to be sized. Thanks again for the tip about negotiating! I will take a look at Bvlgari (assuming it's on our next ship) in February! They did have beautiful Bvlgari handbags on sale last time.

I should also add we were about to negotiate at Bvlgari in St. Maarten.
