Any Birkin 25 regrets?

I'm curious for all of you who have 25's and love them, how tall are you? I'm small-framed but 5'9. Originally I thought only a B35 suited me and when I first tried on a B30 I thought it looked tiny, but now I love that size and think a B35 is just overwhelming (unless I intend to look like I'm carrying a work tote). I've always thought a B25 would look ridiculously small, but now y'all have me wondering if I should try one.....hmmmm.....
5'6, 125 lbs

I'm 6 feet tall and don't have a 25 (yet). However, I found that in terms of practicality sizes like 30 and 35 are best, but as others pointed out it also comes down to preference, what you carry and so on... Personally I'm going for a 25 because I want a Birkin that holds my essentials yet is not overwhelming and small enough to be a dinner bag, after work drinks kinda bag and also as away to intruduce color to my relatively neutral handbag "collection".

Added: Even though I'm on the taller side, I do not factory height into my decision making as my height has nothing to do with my needs and I'll put my needs before "proportions".

I am 5,9” and a us size 6. I don’t carry my 25 buttoned up though - I pull out the sides and that adds volume. I don’t know. I know the toy effect you’re talking about and I agree with you - I also thought a 25 would look silly on me until my SA offered me one and we both agreed it was actually the perfect size.

I think you’ll be fine proportionally anyway. All my daughters are taller than me and look fabulous with a b25!

I'm in the same predicament. I'm really curious to try a 25. I'm 170cm tall (~5 ft 6).

When I think of the size of my bolide 25, I can't comprehend how a birkin 25 wouldn't be minuscule. The thing that puzzles me is that when I look at photos of people here with a birkin 25, it doesn't look that small.

I'm exactly the same height. I also have a Bolide 1923 25, which I find find to be mid-sized. Maybe I'm just used to smaller bags. Oh, and the B25 definitely looks bigger in photos than IRL.

I know isn't it weird? In photos things look larger vs when held in front of a mirror. Makes me remember to take a photo of myself to look at separately when trying to gauge size-appropriateness.

Definitely! Thankfully there are quite a few threads posted here on this. I've been going through the photos posted by other members. Really helps that they list their height too.

I bought mine resale and am so happy I did - I got exactly what I wanted and it was easy. I think people really don't know what they are missing out on in the resale world! Also it was a somewhat unique combo so resale just made more sense. I think 25s are a wonderful size, but I am petite. I think it just depends on what you are prioritizing in a bag.

Personally, I am not a one bag in one bag out fan because I think it can be limiting. For example, many on here love their b30 and find it more versatile than a b25. There could be room in your collection for both! However, if you really do not use the bags then I could understand why you would want to swap them out for something you get more use of.
