I would have to say it is not love if you still have not cut tags. For that amount of money it needs to be love and move right on in wo thinking twice. Maybe with all the new stuff coming out you will find a bag you truly love and fall head over heels in love with. Then you will be able to use and not second guess yourself.
In all fairness, I have carried mine and it is love, but it is more if a fall bag for me in terms of color. It have a lot of other bags that better compliment my summer wardrobe. I know I will use her a lot once summer is over.
Some ppl may like it better for fall but you did cut tags wo second guessing yourself. She stated she loved it when she bought it but something is keeping her from cutting the tags. So it sounds like the love is not there for her to keep it.
You may be right. Only she knows if it is love. I just know I often buy bags that are love and then I have to wait to really wear them. I am a Lilly Pulitzer nut and Olive just does not jive with my Lilly.

I think as someone stated it is a lot of money to be unsure of. I know that I get caught up in the hype here on TPF, and I realize what works for one my not work for another. I just can't figure out what it is I am unsure of. I am thinking fall as well but I know a lot of people were camo color year round. She goes great with a pair of Bobs I have, but......
I think part of it is really the cost issue. This is the most I have ever paid for a purse-tax included it was $500. I mean I have to be really ,really sure before cutting the tags. The other I think is the hardware.....I like it, but for some reason it maybe looks better in gold?? Also, no accessories in gunmetal, I don't like matchy matchy but it is beautiful to coordinate!!! Any suggestions???
Return it bc if it was love you would not be asking more questions or have a issue with the price at all. Maybe it is time for a bag break since you are always second guessing yourself.
I was wondering if you have decided to keep your Carlyle bag? I can understand being indecisive and wanting the opinion of others. There just must be something that you aren't sure about. Sometimes the input from others can help. I do love the photos of the bag that I have seen, and have ordered it myself. Should be delivered soon! I can't wait!!
Not true. I have several bags that I have recently purchased and still have not used. It doesn't mean that I don't like or "love" them. It just means that I am not ready to use them. Not everyone who buys a bag rushes home, cuts tags, and "moves into" immediately. I am one of those people; it doesn't mean that one is indecisive. There could be many reasons why a bag isn't "moved into" the second one walks in the door. However, if one is on the fence about a bag, it's color, price, or whatever, So What?
