I shop at LOFT for work clothes. I'm in my mid-20s. It's a rotation between LOFT, and JCrew, sometimes Banana, but their quality has really started to go downhill in the past few years.

One rule I live by at LOFT though - never buy anything full price. Everything ALWAYS goes on sale and they frequently have 30, 40, even 50% off sales!

I like Ann Taylor loft as well. I do find they have vanity sizing a bit though. I'm almost always a size 0 there, where I wear a size 2 or 4 in most other stores. I agree though - don't buy unless you get the item on sale. They always go on sale!

There's a consignment store near me that has a lot of designer clothes and bags and also non-designer items. I picked up a Loft t-shirt yesterday. I'm not a mall shopper and have never shopped at the Loft. This shirt was priced higher than another one I got which was Free People. Seemed like that was backwards but still not a lot of money.
Jury is out as to how I'm going to like these or how often they will be worn.
