I commented on her IG that I'm interested in her jewelry but read online she attacked a woman for mixing one of her pieces with other designers, and is that something she usually does? She commented "that's not what happened," and that she respects her clients and stands by her integrity. But also deleted my comment [emoji23]

LOL - I saw her response only on IG because she deleted your comment but there are screen shots here showing that's EXACTLY what happened
Guess we best not wear a Tiffany engagement ring with another wedding band... Heaven forbid you put your LV wallet in your Chanel...

And PS - unless you are paying someone to represent you - you have NO right to tell them how to "style" their own belongings.

I'm also happy this thread is back. The #anitano drama was a classic. I hadn't noticed her jewelry before and now whenever I see it sold somewhere I just chuckle.

I just got chewed out by the designer because I wore her arrow clip earring with another designer's ear cuff (it's similar to her design but much much cheaper). She said I was never allowed to buy her things again! What do I do? If I carry a Chanel bag does that mean I am expected to dress head to toe Chanel??

Appreciate some feedback, so sad right now as I was saving up to buy two more earrings from her!

That is actually so rude for her to say that. You know from a PR perspective this is actually really bad as it gives her a very bad image. I mean I know she is the designer, but like what others have said, is Karl Lagerfeld going to yell at you on social media because you paired a Chanel jacket with thrifted jeans? No.

If I were you, I would take that money saved up and spend it somewhere else (I mean you are essentially helping her put food on her table). You do not deserve this sort of treatment... actually nobody does.

Considering all the amazing other jewellery designers out there, I think it's super important that everyone is made aware of how incredibly rude and disrespectful Anita is to her customers!!!

Everyone considering buying one of her pieces: Take your business elsewhere!!

I'm a huge Etsy buyer, all the sellers are aways super helpful and polite, so no matter your budget, there is great jewellery out there at any price range!!
