In surprised this story hasn't made more press. I can def see it being a business case study.....what not to do as a business, especially to a customer who is giving you free advertising wOM

Has anyone seen that show "Ladies of London"? What's funny is that one of the women own the "Gift Library" (gift concierge service) and the only clear item in their product catalogue montage was an Anita Ko piece.

Ohh I saw the first episode but I didn't notice her jewelry was on clearance!! Too funny!!

I am still "holding" my breath on the shark tooth design she said on her Instagram account that gave her the inspiration for her next collection

Wow!! I cannot believe the nerve of that woman!!! I am so sorry, OP.

I had recently requested one of the stores here on NY to let me know when another diamond bracelet of hers came in, because I wanted it to add to my stack. Now, I'd be concerned for being attacked for wearing her bracelet with cartier, lol.

This whole story has so totally turned me off the designer, I'm sure I can find something I love just as much for the amount she charges!

I was about to blog about an Anita Ko ring but I'd really hate for anyone to attract this kind of abuse for spending their hard earned money on her jewelry...so I think I'll just include some similar styles instead!

I do hope anyone out there with Anita Ko jewelry (or similar items) are busy posting photos to Instagram or Twitter and styling them with absolutely any piece they want...and tagging them for her to see too, of course!

OP I do hope you've been able to put this unpleasant experience behind you as much as possible (I think you handled it all incredibly well) and are either still enjoying your AK jewelry or have had your returns processed

Mindy Kalig posted a pic of herself wearing one of her pieces on FB recently. It kind of made me sad. I wanted to post about this incident, but I knew it would get lost in the shuffle.

I debated posting on this but I must comment. I own the AK rose gold arrow earring but did not buy AK double diamond earring cuff since I felt that over $2k for this was a bit much.
I have a single diamond petite looking white gold diamond ear cuff bought from Barneys made by another jewelry designer. I have never posted a pic of the combo worn anywhere on social media.

This raises many questions in my mind. Does AK own a copyright on her "styling" of her single arrow earring? It is a single earring, and so is the cuff. They are not worn together so how can she possibly control what people wear with her jewelry?! Unbelievable! And crazy.

I also must state my last question (don't holler at me!). How can you be absolutely sure that AK wrote that harsh rant to the OP? I'm sort of a skeptic about anything posted on social media ever since the catfish thing. If AK did this,surely her major resellers (net a porter, Neimans, Londonjewelers,Jeffrey's, several other large jewelers and her celebrity clients ) would be backpedaling to fix this situation.

The responses on Instagram were from her account. I'm sure NM and others aren't concerned about a small issue on Instagram that AKo actually deleted pretty quickly;

Ok didn't see they were deleted. I just saw all of the backlash towards AK in the OP's posts. I also meant that if someone that works for AK actually posted it with her account.

Anyhow the whole thing sickens me. I have several $$$ items of hers that I wear daily and it makes me think of this bad situation now.

woah! OP you handled this well.
I made a comment on the Dame's instagram account under the panthere rings saying they look suspiciously like cartier's iconic ring! she will probably ban me! haha! she cannot claim she invented the ear cuff, what's next? she invented pendants?
