ANATOMY OF A POCHETTE: a quick and mini guide

ICB, Thanks for the pochette guide! There was also a very very dark brown one at the trunk show too... am still dreaming about it.

I like the idea of using this as a travel wallet to pop in a bigger bag -- passport, money and all kinds of stuff for travel -- or as a clutch for travel. It fits my treo! that's nice for a clutch bag!

I use mine as a little companion for my Work bag. I was thinking of getting both a Pochette and a Compagnon but they didn't have any of the colors I wanted in the Compagnon (still dreaming of the Anthracite and Marine though).

The Pochette does fit a lot! Almost like a First.

I am so glad the Pochette is getting attention, thanks to ICB! I've been lusting after it since I saw it in Harvey Nix in 2005! Now if I could only find it in Sapin...

Yes - I just love love love the Pochette and even my friends are so sick of hearing me rave about it!:yahoo::heart: In my opinion, it's much easier to hold than the Oval (don't get me wrong I  the Oval too)

I hope we find you a Sapin Pochette - its out there somewhere - would you consider the FW 07 Pine?

I've already gotten the Oval cause of you, now you're making me want the pochette! :push: I need to stop reading your posts! :p

Hee hee! :p I think this will be it for a while, I've been so busy working and planning out a party for my friend but I think that the Oval is a completely different look compared to the Pochette - they are equally gorgeous though.

And I think the Oval is a good substitute to those gals who are not loving the GH on the FW 07 Sphere bag.

I was asked a few times about how much a pochette can hold, so here are my photographic investigations.

I used my Epi Ludlow, a Treo 600 (no small, sleek phone, but a brick of a PDA), and my full Tanner Krolle cosmetics bag (something one might not necessarily put in a clutch), just to see how it did.

Here it is empty... open and closed.

Then, with the Ludlow, the treo and the cosmetics bag... open and closed. Lots of room there! and I didn't bother to use the front pocket at all, which would be great for business cards and metrocards!

Just to demonstrate the size, I compared the full pochette with my Fendi Selleria Mamma -- holds plenty, yet keeps its sleek appearance.

Hope this helps the decision making process for all you erstwhile Pochette owners!
