You never cease to amaze me, kate!
That's so sweet, but it was nothing special, thank you!

I was just buffing to minimize minor scratches and bring out the shine. The Dremel has all kinds of scary-looking attachments, which attachment do you suggest for polishing hardware?
Hi! If your asking me which attachment to use for the hardware I am clueless, I had only bought the dremmel last year to do my dogs nailsIt never entered my mind to actually see what all the other attachments can do.
ahhhh the info paperwork for the dremmel. I wonder what safe area of the house I have that filed away in?![]()
BTW, the product that I used to seal the metal of the reservoir that holds the solid perfume is called Diamond Glaze. I found it at a scrapbooking store and I have used it to seal the hardware on rehab project bags that had verigris. It was originally recommended by a TPFer named Alliemia, see the link below:

a follow up question about diamond glaze .... After time has passed and you've had diamond glaze on your metal hardware, is it still holding up, with no residual effects to the metal, etc? and holding it's own against return verdigris? I am finally wrangling a really old British Tan bag with some verdigris issues, and don't really want to put on the glaze yet til I check back and see how it is working out now that some time has passed. thanks!!
So far the green hasn't come back I'm happy to say. You have to dilute it and apply it thinly or it doesn't look great.
dstalksalot creates jewelry and she recommends a similar product called Paper Glaze that she finds at Michaels, see below:

I can't BELIEVE these are going for $50 bucks on the bay!!! I think I was walking out of the outlets with them by the handfulls years ago. At one point they were $9.99 PLUS it was during Tangers 20% of BCA coupons so I was getting them for like $7.99.
Looks brand new...great rehab!!!
Wow! You're amazing! I never would have thought to do that with the refills. I probably would have cleaned it out, and it would have been just a charm.
