Thank you! TTS for me. I notice the satin slingbacks have a tiny elasticized band on the heel. I don't know if this is a new design feature but it helps to secure the back on the heel. I am waiting for one Rosie (pre-ordered from FWRD by Elyse Walker) so I will be able to better evaluate sizes then. One is from The Webster and one is from Selfridges (one pink sz 41 was available this AM if anyone is looking). Feels like such a win for me!
I ordered the Rosie's also from Harrods, I ordered my true size hopefully they don't slip off.
How long is fwrd taking to send yours? If you don't mind me asking.

Operandi and are supposed to arrive Monday, my purple pvc slingbacks are from FWRD but were delayed and now do not have expected ship date. I’m worried I may not get those ones.

I think I did have the projected shipping date- can't remember now, but they got here!
I know AM production was really delayed due to COVID. I have the Gilda leopard print on pre-order from Moda Operandi as well, delivery is delayed at least 1 month.
So did anyone order the AWGE x Amina drop?? I have ordered so much, I don't think I can justify one more but I LOVE the black leather and pave bow!!

But Ah! I swear they dropped right after I bought those three pairs, so I can't justify more. For those on the hunt, the new Phoenix PVC Slingback in black or clear might be a nice substitute for the Begum clear slingback since they so hard to get. BG in US has almost every size available as of right now. That said, crystals looked glued on the butterfly, which looks a little less secure than the regular Begum crystal piece.
Hi everyone! Currently on a waitlist at bergdorfs for the begum crystal pump in 37.5. They received a shipment on Thursday but the SA said my size wasn’t here yet. I think my size might have been already claimed by people higher up in the WL because I know someone who is my size was able to purchase the pair through SA. Do you think there will be another shipment for them?! Confused! Thanks
Yay both of my orders arrived today and I hadn’t even received a shipping update from fwrd since the last delay email I received. The shoes are gorgeous and I’m actually happy with quality, was worried due to some YouTube reviews. I got the 37 in clear begum pump and 37.5 violet begum slingbacks. The 37 is a little snug but doesn’t squeeze my foot so I lucked out. So happy with them.

Is 37.5 your normal size? They are so beautiful, how are the sling backs? Do they stay up?

Yes I take 37.5 in most designers- manolo, choo, and even a 38 in some cl. I was worried that the 37 would be too small but the pvc is not super stiff and the toe box has much more room than cl. Narrow toe box is usually what makes me have to size up to 38 in cl.
