AMANDA BYNES COPS GOT NOTHING When It Comes to Drugs

The Amanda Bynes drug case is falling apart ... FAST ... because the cops have absolutely NO HARD EVIDENCE that Amanda was ever in possession of weed, this based on information TMZ has obtained from law enforcement.

An NYPD official told TMZ ... the police report mentions NOTHING of any marijuana recovered at the scene. According to the report, cops saw Amanda throw what they believe is "drug paraphernalia" out the window. The report also says cops smelled "a strong odor of marijuana."

Based on multiple calls to law enforcement and others ... it appears NO DRUGS were recovered ... and that's what Amanda has been saying all along.

As for the alleged bong ... it's almost certain it will never be admitted into evidence. TMZ broke the story ... our producer spotted glass remnants on a sub-roof Tuesday and then called police and asked if they had inspected it. He was told they hadn't, and was asked for the location where the glass was found. Cops arrived a short time later and presumably checked the sub-roof.

Here's the problem ... No one knows if anyone tampered with the glass remnants which sat for days, in the rain. The chain of custody has been irretrievably broken and it's virtually certain the glass would not be admissible into evidence.

Short story ... even if prosecutors try to nail Amanda for reckless endangerment by throwing something out the window -- cops say she confessed to throwing a vase but she denies it -- there's no physical evidence of what was allegedly thrown. We've spoken with several lawyers who say it will be extremely difficult to convict her on reckless endangerment without physical evidence.

Short story -- if you're betting on this one, Amanda seems to be a pretty safe gamble.

As late-night revelers opened the door to Amanda Bynes’ large but sparsely furnished NYC apartment for an impromptu party, they were shocked by what they discovered inside. Exclusive photos obtained by In Touch appear in this week’s issue, exposing the troubled star’s partying life.

Photos taken inside her apartment during a long night of partying reveal her disheveled living conditions, and Amanda herself atop a bare mattress, smoking a joint and obsessively refreshing her phone’s Twitter feed. She is also pictured applying her makeup and dancing (much like her infamous "getting-ready" Twitter video that went viral), with a strange man “dancing behind her, and smoking weed with her,” says “Joe” to In Touch, a photographer who was inside Amanda’s apartment that night, who doesn’t want his real name used.

“She probably gets so high that sometimes she won’t even leave her house,” claims photographer Giovanni Arnold, who was also at Amanda’s apartment that night along with “Joe.” “One minute she’s cool and down-to-earth. The next, she’s totally di fferent — indecisive, and she can’t hold a conversation,” he tells In Touch. “Mentally, she’s all over the place.”

Despite Amanda telling In Touch she doesn’t have a mental disorder or drink or smoke pot, Giovanni and “Joe” claim Amanda had plenty of marijuana in her apartment. “Weed was everywhere,” says Giovanni. “On the bed, all over the floor.” Giovanni also alleges she did cocaine when they were at her place, although Amanda denies it, telling In Touch, “They’re the ones into drugs, so they bring drugs, but I don’t do them.”

Drug claims aside, it would be hard for Amanda to deny the conditions in which she lives. “Her living room is basically empty,” describes “Joe.” Blinds hang on three windows near her bed, while the other windows are spray-painted black.

After her impromptu photo shoot, of which "Joe" says, “Her dress was tight and sheer and you could see her bra — she seemed to like that,” the party continued into the wee morning hours when Amanda kicked her guests out around 5 a.m.

I think she's schizophrenic. My heart really aches for this one. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to be in her head.

Unfortunately, even if she was to be treated, there's no guarantee that she would take her medication.

Of course, this is only my opinion since i'm not a doctor but I do enjoy playing one online. '

at least she's out and about in those pics above, doing something constructive other than staying home and doing drugs, all while taking sketchy pictures of herself. I do hope the best for Amanda. I was such a fan of her growing up. I hope to see her get back to her normal self. I have a friend that was recently diagnosed with schizophrenia back in December, and Amanda does not in my opinion fit the archetype of a schizophrenic, although there are different forms of it. My friend, who we'll call K, simply sees people who aren't there and hears voices that aren't there. She also lived her whole life believing that she had a twin sister who had all the character traits she hated about herself. She used to talk about her to me and my friends, and one day she found out that her twin sister wasn't real but was a projection of herself that she was seeing somehow. Upon this discovery she became suicidal and was admitted to a mental institution. Sorry for all the unnecessary details, but just telling you all how suddenly it can hit someone and flip their life upside down.

^ ^ You are right. I know someone who's son is schizophrenic, He hears voices and carries on conversations with them, so very sad. He lives at home and has someone who stays with him during the day while my friend works. No clue as to what is wrong with this chick.

I just read an article of Lance Bass commenting on her current mental state and of course she lashed out bigtime on twitter... I wonder why everyone keeps offering their 2 cents on her, despite knowing how she will react. Maybe ignoring her for a while might be the best medicine for her...
