I don't know what TMZ is trying to proove. Who knows why her mother made that statement. Maybe she did not want to disclose something that is not anyone's business in the first place.

I was thinking this too. Maybe they don't want to reveal her medical issues to the world yet.

I don't know, maybe her mom is in denial, big time! My Inlaws were like that with my sister in law. They were vehemently against her being on meds even though she desperately needed them and denied any kind of mental Illness for over a decade.

Maybe? I don't know either. Even to this day there's a lot of stigmatization and connotation against people with mental illness/disorder. I guess some might think that denying is better than having this burden on their shoulders. I hope she'll get well for each passing day because she used to be so bubbly, funny and a very bright young woman.

I agree. And just because she is a celeb doesnt mean she needs to tell everyone her diagnosis. If her mom wants to claim weed, so be it.
