Am I the only one who buys, returns, exchanges over and over and over???

This is not me at all. I plan for months and go to the store over and over again untill i am sure of what i want. THEN i buy it. Which is why I'm usually VERY happy with the bag and don't easily get bored of it!

Hehe, I have only just discovered the joys of being able to return things. I used to impulse buy but couldn't bring myself to return anything even when the item drops in price even b4 i remove my tags!!!

Anyways, with my first LV purchase, I counted on my fren's mum in taking it out of the country so that I could get my tax back on the bag. It was $73 back which is quite a lot! Anyways, I bought the bag without asking her first and she refused.

Another friend of mine who saw how disappointed I was said he was happy to take it for me but he only left a month later. So I returned my bag before I could use it...*sobs*

Eversince then I keep wondering if I could have gotten a different bag and panicking if the price will go up before I hold it in my hands again. I also worry that I've been too self-indulgent considering I dun have the bag to defend its worth...it's pure agony!

Thank God I found this forum...it's the only sustanence I've had so far, that and numerous visits to my LV store to 'visit' my bag...

I thought my situation was sad... now I dun feel so bad about returning my bag...I think of it as LV keeping custody of it until my friend is ready to claim my taxes back for me!

You are not alone!!! I do the same - I keep thinking elux is going to send me a note saying I will not be allowed to order anymore lol!!! The worst part is I have ordered the same bag more than once, in different colors, and returned them!!! I think they are very good though to me...And I had the koala wallet, didn't use it, sold it, and now am thinking of another wallet (suhali?) -- and luggage......I am thankful they are on-line and will ship to me though!! If they haven't shut me off yet I don't believe they will!

I've done only two exchanges at LV in my whole life but both times I put more money into getting a more expensive bag.

But 99% of the time my purchases are planned out. I tell myself that if I'm still thinking about the item in 3 months, I'll get it.

When it comes to clothes, I take lots of pictures in the fitting room then I go home and think about it.

I buy, get bored within 5 months (max) and sell to buy another bag - and I only do this with LV. I hate that I do that - I finally feel satisfied with my collection - I hope this lasts!

I do the exact same thing! I tend to get bored with my bags after a while :amuse:

Are you my sister?? You are describing her, word for word!!! Me, on the other hand? I rarely return, and sometimes I actually feel RELIEVED when something happens to my bags so I don't have to overly obsess over them anymore!!

Maybe there should be a program where you can do a 1-month lease on a designer bag to see if you love it. Wouldn't that be fabulous? Then I wouldn't have to go back to Neimans or Saks repeatedly to try the bag out over and over in front of the mirror. Or ask my fiance to play devils advocate with me on certain bags.
