Am I receiving an offer?

Ladies would appreciate your advice. Recently I told my SA the colors I was interested in for my my dream bag. Then about 2 weeks later she texted me and asked whether I preferred leather or croc. We went over some more colors and then I made a few small purchases and left. Do you think I will be offered a bag soon? What has your experience been with bag offers? This is new to me she is a new SA for me(I recently moved). I have been holding out purchasing another bag in this color bc I have my heart set in a Hermès in this color! Should I continue to wait bc it may happen soon? Please any input/ advice would be much appreciated!

I’d be surprised if she’d ask the question for no reason - but the reason might just be that she wants to make sure to grab the right bag since sometimes they have basically no time. I wouldn’t necessarily take it to mean that the offer will come tomorrow, but it’s an excellent sign that you’re on their mind actively. Just my two cents!

My only friend irl who’s a Hermes lover is way over the spend limit so so far hasn’t had to wait/play games (she’s also not in the US).

I really dont want a croc and i did tell her when she asked. When you turned down the croc what happened? Did it affect you relationship? Did you eventually get the bag you wanted?

Crocs are more difficult for them to sell because of the price point. She probably had a croc that needed a buyer so she wanted to gauge your interest. Turning it down doesn’t hurt you and it’s great that she thought of you so you are definitely on her radar. I’d guesstimate that a regular leather offer is coming within the next six months or so. I honest to my SA is all my bags will support my daily work . And yes , we still in good relationship and I already have two beauties B after that .

Yes sounds like she’s keeping you in mind. Does not mean a perfect offer is coming though and I don’t think any of us can say for sure when you are gonna get that. I wouldn’t be afraid to turn down croc if I’m not looking for exotics - it does sound like she may have a croc but given you told her no croc it’s possible she knows not to offer you that one now. Still it’s promising that she is thinking about you so I say be patient. That’s rule number one with H :) Good luck.

If an SA asked for clarification then they are definitely looking out for you. Remember sometimes it happens very fast - a bag comes in and SAs have to grab it for their client. The more they know about what you like, the easier that is.

It’s a good start, but the journey can be long or short depending on your over all purchase history.... good luck dear.

Oh my ladies! You were right my SA JUST TEXTED ME ABOUT THE BAG! I am going to look at it tomorrow! Wish me luck I will keep you all posted!
