So…I used my new mini Selleria Peekaboo for a first time yesterday and I am not in love with it
I absolutely adore the look and the feel of it (both colour and leather are to die for), the strap is perfect length wise and very comfortable to wear, but I just didn’t love using it
I don’t know what’s wrong with me (or the bag) and what to do about it. I know I love the style - my Capucines BB is one of my favorites; I know I like “toned down” luxury - my “logo-less” bags (including my Loewe and Hermes bags, etc) are much loved and used, so I am at a loss…
Could it be I loved the idea of “having” Peekaboo without realizing it wont add/bring anything new to my collection as I already have my favorites that “tick” all the right boxes

Any insight / thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Well, i know with myself, that if I’m not feeling it’s the perfect bag or feeling something is ‘off’ - then that bag is going to be gathering dust on a shelf very soon… don’t do that to my ‘love’ peekaboo lol (which one do you have?) and resell to a loving home

I got this beauty (posted it’s reveal a few pages back) and for the life of me I don’t know what’s wrong with me cause it’s perfect. But you are absolutely right - there is a feeling that something is “off” and I don’t know what it is…
I wonder if maybe I am at the point where I am just not in need of more bags
Maybe it’s actually ok for me to just lust after a bag without purchasing it…

I think it’s a combination of not realistically needing another bag + pressure of purchasing the bag before price increase (saved $800 CAD but spent $5500 CAD lol) + “desperately” lusting after Lindy 26 without admitting it to myself thus filling the “void”.
I don’t sell my bags, so I will keep it as a pricey reminder to think twice (or even thrice, if it’s even a word lol) before buying…unless it’s Hermes

I need some help, I have resigned myself to the fact that the Peekaboo will never reach the outlet. Years ago I tried the peekaboo mini in a hot pink (no longer available) and in selleria white. I didn't pull the trigger...

I recently tried the ISeeU small in white. I literally can't decide between the small in white or the mini in white. The mini is in selleria leather and the small is in calfskin. The ISeeU to me seems more structured and more formal thus might hold its shape better (?) while the mini seems roomier (?) and I really like the side view (especially since I ultimately want to get the Touch which looks somewhat similar to the ISeeU from the side?)

Does anyone has both or hesitated between both and if so, what did you choose and why?

Oh and also the idea is to get 2: one mini or small and the medium/regular in classic style (in selleria in black) so maybe it would be best to get the small ISeeU?

I don’t have both but like you I was debating between the two for a split minute.

Like you, I (by far) preferred the side view of regular mini Selleria vs small ISeeU Selleria. I understand that added pleat in ISeeU might help the bag to hold its shape better, but I think it’s more relevant a to bigger sized bag vs mini. Additionally, when carrying the bag, I intended to wear it crossbody quite often and I found on me classic mini Selleria size looked better crossbody vs small Selleria ISeeU. Lastly , unfortunately mini is the only remaining size that still comes in a classic (non ISeeU) style, and since I wasn’t compromising on bag capacity by picking the mini (it fits all my daily essential), I figured I should go with the classic.

Do you mean that they don't do/stopped producing the classic Peekaboo in the regular size? So whatever is in stock in stores that's it?!

No problem!
That was my understanding from talking to my SA. I know info might vary from boutique to boutique, so please take it with a grain of salt. I suggest to double check with your boutique if you are interested in a larger size classic, but since I was keen on a mini size classic, I didn’t pursue this any further.

This is part of Kim Jones’ tribute to the collaboration between artist / illustrator Antonio Lopez and Karl Lagerfeld. Love this whole collection on the Peekaboo, Baguette and RTW (particularly the shearling cropped jacket). Happy you found it, and hoping this made it part of your collection

Hi. Anyone know if they have discontinued the mini peekaboo in nappa leather? I had a quality issue with mine. The color wore off just by handling it and it felt completely dry to the touch. (Mine was in apple green) Recently Fendi offered me to exchange the bag, and then I noticed that they don't have this model in stock on their website anymore, and the SA only han one left in black, and one in taupe left in their Roma-store. Anyone know if they have stopped producing this model, or maybe it's just on hold until they release the spring-summer 2023? TIA
