About to purchase a petite 2jours in navy.. what would you do?
-buy it from the Fendi boutique in NYC and get it hotstamped
-buy it online from NM and get 10% ******** from your credit card?

if NM still had its gift card promotion this would make the decision a lot easier...

It's just a personal choice, for one, I'm getting married in a few months and I still can't decide whether I wanna go thru the hassle and change my last name. I also am not too into marking my item with my initials, kinda remind me how I need to mark my daughter's name on her backpack, water bottle, jacket etc. for school, lol! But I think the hot stamping idea is neat and most ppl like their items being personalized. It's just not me, tho I did think about it.

For me, it would depend on if I have a trusted SA that I had built a relationship with.....if so, I would purchase from the boutique as having a SA that you can contact is invaluable! I have had a minor repair issue that was quickly resolved, been called when pre orders first arrived, and even get contacted for sales.

If you don't have that relationship and aren't interested in building one, the go for the discount! I find some brands (either dept store or boutique) have no interest in being customer service oriented......so I opt for the discount every time:p

Now that the 2Jours thread has been active for a couple years, can the long-time owners comment on their bag's quality? How has your bag held up, and for those with the shoulder strap, how does it feel when the bag is full? I'm on the hunt for a daily commuter bag that can carry my wallet, sunnies, lipstick, magazine, keys, smartphone and a small snack. Am I barking up the wrong tree with the 2Jours? Thank you in advance for any insight.

Is the 2Jours still in high demand? or are colours seasonal...?
I'm looking to purchase a navy medium. Do you think I'd have to wait until the FW is out or do they always come in a whole bunch of classic staple colours?
I really want... :(

I think they have both classic colors and seasonal colors. Black and grey are classic for instance and I dun think they will ever go on sale, while I've seen other seasonal colors (butter yellow for instance) go on sale. I'd say the 2jours are still growing strong. I love my petite so much that I'm actually getting my 2nd one.

They have navy mediums in the boutique now.....I was at the Saks AtL boutique last week and they had a medium and a petit:smile1:

Ahh! Thank you! So exciting!
Too bad I live in Toronto where we don't have a Fendi boutique... I hope I can find it at Holts! Otherwise I'll have to order it online but I won't be able to see the exact shade. Sucky but I'm sure it will be gorgeous either way.
