Wow that's too long. Mine pass around my hips. Did you already put on the first hole? I think better to change with another strap ( think strap you ) rather than shortened the original one. But you can ask the SA in Paris hope they can find something for you. Happy holidays dear🗼😁

@lisa.petheresia

I was hoping Fendi could put some new holes in it. I think I would need another 2.
I'm a shorty, but I do not like to wear my handbags crossbody style. Crossbody this handbag is actually ok, but on the shoulder its too long :nogood:

If all you need are new holes, a cobbler or shoe repair place can do that. It's super easy.
I do not like cross-body straps and have my straps shortened by a professional leather and shoe repair company. They are in Dallas. This is where Neimans, etc., sends bags for repair.
Deno's Highland Park Village, Dallas. You can call them and ship it to them.
I just had my Peekabook strap shortened. A friend in CA sent me a Balenciaga strap and I took it to them and had it shortened.

An alternative, just tie a knot in the top of the strap. It does not hurt the strap. I will do so and show you a pic.

Thanks for the reply.
Do you think a cobbler would make holes that are the same and as durable as the original? The new holes would not tear or anything? I prefer new holes than knotting the strap - though thank you for the alternate idea. :-)

Yes, the holes will be the same if they do it right. There is a tool they use. It has a selection of hole sizes. They should match it up with what is already on the bag.
If you look closely inside the holes, it is the raw leather. There is no coating inside.
I actually have the tool. It is used to make holes in belts also. Same thing. :)

Thanks for the info nascarfan - I'll bring the handbag to the cobbler this week :-)
