I was considering the Chloe Marcie medium - but it looked kind of big on my frame - but a well made bag. I didn't know the Jackie comes with no zipper! The leather in the Jackie looks very nice though..

Your bag is beautiful! What a great DH.
And I love the way your granite countertops look with the brick wall - it looks like a kitchen backsplash? I'm picturing a renovated loft type apartment.
You both have great taste!

Hi, Gattidog! I live in a 150-year-old rowhouse, so the brick you see in the photo is original. The granite is a small area of countertop in front of what used to be an old chimney. I have to admit, the kitchen with the exposed brick is what really sold me on the house!

I have the same lovely bag! Have you started using it? I am the one who posted about the issue of not having a top zipper. (other than the middle one)..Would love to hear your experiences.

I've only used it once so far. I have a small Celine wallet that fits easily in the center zip compartment, along with my phone. Using the bag will take a little getting used to, because I usually use a small bag organizer, but because of the way the 2jours is divided up, my bag insert won't fit. I'm not really worried about security, I just have to get used to what I'm going to put where, so it makes sense to me. A lot of my bags don't zip entirely shut, so I guess I'm used to that -- just always try to zip my wallet into an inside pocket. HTH!

First Fendi! B-day gift from DH.

I purchased a Fendi Petit 2Jours in grey with gold hardware recently and love how it looks. I had done a lot of research before buying it and it is perfect for my petite figure. However, I am having second thoughts about this bag because I am not used to bags without a top zipper. Feels less secure without a zipper to cover the entire bag. I would like to compare this to another bag in a different brand and get opinions, but I am not sure if I am allowed to discuss that here..I'm a new member. Also, has anyone felt the security issue like me?

I have two of the Fendi Petit 2jours bags and I was also concerned about the somewhat open top when I got the first one. The 2jours doesn't tip over easily and the sides slope toward the top, so spilling is not really an issue. The center zip compartment can carry my card holder, keys and phone and I don't have to worry about them inadvertently falling out and they are still easy to get to. I use the side compartments for my two Fendi zip cases in one and my large wallet in the other. They fit comfortably yet don't bang around and there is still room for other things, but that is usually about all I carry at one time. If I am going to be someplace where I won't be in and out of the bag, I snap it closed, which I think is a good idea anyway, to get the side leather pleats of the bag a little in that position.
Overall, I love this style! It is the right size for me proportion wise and can still carry a little extra without the kitchen sink. And I love the crossbody strap!

Thanks for such a comprehensive answer! Good to know that you have only positives to say about it. Especially that your large wallet doesn't fall ut of the side compartment..Wondering what colors you have!

Thanks Gattidog! Forgot to quote you in my reply above:smile1:
