I am contemplating buying a pre loved Kelly Lakis size 40 in the Black Box / Canvas combo ..
Anyone have one of these by any chance and can comment on the weight of it ?

Also, is it certain that the leather/canvas combo is discontinued ??

I know the title of this thread ia All-leather Kelly Lakis, but since I had posted earlier to this thread I thought I would do my reveal here.

I am now the proud owner of a new to me pre-loved Marron Fonce Veau Box Toile 40 Kelly Lakis. I plan to use as my work bag, it actually isn't as large as I thought it would be once I add all my stuff.

I gave it a 'home spa' treatment with Blackrock and Obenaufs and have a question out to Doc regarding a smudge/scuff mark on the toile/canvas. It is pre-loved so I did not epxect it to be mint, and I'll likely end up adding more marks/scuffs to it so this way I won't worry.

I'm still on the hunt for a 35 Kelly lakis in all-leather

2weeks ago I attended a h event. There were many ladies with b and k in different sizes,colors, but the one everyone was talking about was a blue electrique Kelly lakis! And as per sa the woman wanted one for a long time, and one day just got off the shelf! : by the way , does the bag come in exotic.? I believe the ostrich would much lighter...oh..I'm falling in love just with an idea!

So glad to finally become a member of the lakis club! I never thought I would fall so hard for this but I have! I love everything about the full leather kelly lakis, the wider bandouliere, velvety smooth swift leather, and the edgy pockets!

A birkin lakis would a natural progression of this, but given the current circumstance of Mr Lakis I doubt it will be available for public purchase...
