All About the Giant Sphere Bag - what do you think?

the sphere is interesting, but somehow it looks a little strange when hand-carried. On the shoulder, it definitely looks much better. I wonder what happens if say you put in a magazine, will the corners of the mag jut/cut into the sphere 3/4 down the bag, KWIM? hmmm.....
Hi! I asked my SA the last time I spoke with them and it's $1595...which will be my most expensive bag ever! If I don't love the hell out of my Violet Sphere I'll be returning it for a Flat Messenger with the curved top. I'll shoot pics when I get it and we'll see...
kimberf, thanks for the visual! Now I know what the Sphere reminds me of...those old hatboxes and traincases that my grandmother used to lug around whenever she traveled. Mind you, back in the 60s she'd lug those things around with her on a week's trip to HK from the Philippines -- a MASSIVE 2-hour flight. Goodness!
I think that the Sphere is a cool bag, and takes some getting used to. I certainly didn't expect it to be THAT big, but there you go. I don't see myself getting one, though, 'cuz I rather like my bags having angled bottoms.

ETA: I just called them and they said they only had it in Black w/Giant Gold Hardware, and the price is $1,595. I asked a mod to go ahead and update the Dimensions and Prices for All Balenciaga Styles with this info, since I think we've got sufficient confirmation of the price now.

Maybe is was sold - I saw it Saturday afternoon. Sorry, I did not check the price.Just want to ask what colors available for Sphere style? I am not so familiar with this style? Is it only one size for sphere?? And also I would like to know how much is it now?? Thanks!! I would appreciate if you could post pics of the size. Thanks again!!!
