All About the Giant Sphere Bag - what do you think?

The Sphere makes the Brief look good! I am not a Sphere fan myself, but I think it would look fabulous in colours and it certainly looks good over the shoulder!

I think the Sphere is a "maybe." I think we'll need TIME to let it grow on us and let our eyes get used to it. I think it's very interesting and fun. (although definitely on the BIG side) Case in point: we all hated GH at first...look at us now. We were iffy on the Brief at first, but it has lots of fans now.

Regardless, you ROCK the Sphere, kimair!!! I, personally, think it looks really awesome on you! (great outfit, by the way)

i forgot that peggy told me she was leaving at 6, and it was a little before that when i got there...
with no sa's around, i could take a bunch of pics...
then peggy came out from the back room (on her way out) and she briefly walked me through all the new stuff...

sunspark...it's as wide as a brief at its widest point i would say...
rocco...no gloves but definitely a coat...it was very windy today...

they also got in a suede/leather bag (non-moto) in olive green suede/black leather, and the clous...
she loved the clous on me, but it seems like more of a winter bag, and i can't justify spending that much on it...

here's the olive green/black suede bag...it's $1595...

it's also coming in a taller style with a shoulder strap for $1995...

Kimair - I agree with Kristy! I remember how we all compard the gold hardware to thimbles, jelly candy when it first came out, and now we mostly all love it. You do rock the sphere!! Thanks for the pics! BL

oh, the sphere is TDF! Thank you for posting the photos, especially the one with the brief and sphere together. It gave me an idea of how big it is. I agree with Nanaz, the clous does not appeal to me.

The sphere is much bigger than I had anticipated. The round shape isn't my personal preference, but it's definitely unique. I like that Balenciaga is trying some new styles and I'm interested in seeing more pics.

I initially really liked the Sphere, but I have to say I am not crazy about it now. Even if it came in RH, it wouldn't make it into my collection. It seems kind of out of character for Balenciaga, somehow... Although as Kristy said, it may just be an issue of getting used to a new shape.

Anyway, thank you so much for taking all the pictures! It is so helpful to see the bags modeled and compared.
